Wonderful hotel.Posted Mar 21, 2015
Pros: Views, comfort and helpful staff.
Cons: Parking is awkward but that is generally the case in Edinburgh and I think a problem difficult to solve.
Location: It is in Edinburgh 'New Town' which is very grand. Nearby are walks along the Dean Valley, Museums of Modern Art and shopping at Princes Street.
It is a beautiful Edinburgh 'New Town' Georgian building with character and class. The staff are welcoming and the views from our top floor room were stunning. Great breakfast too.

B+B Edinburgh: Terrific Stay!Posted Mar 21, 2015
Pros: The pub and library!
Location: Short walk to Prince's Street
In New Town, it's a bit out of the way, but not too far a walk to Princes Street and, depending on how far you want to walk, the Castle, Royal Mile, Gallery, etc. The staff, however, was absolutely terrific about calling and getting cabs for us when we wanted them. Only breakfast, but completely open to having other meals delivered in if we wanted them. Coffee all day available in the library, and both the library and pub were cozy and nice touches... lovely to read for an hour in the library, or wind down in the evening in the pub. Staff was terrific. I'd highly recommend!

新旧の融合が絶妙なデザイナーズ・ホテルPosted Mar 21, 2015

Well located Boutique HotelPosted Mar 18, 2015
Pros: Everything as above
Location: Within 5/10 mins good selection of restaurants/shops/pubs etc and city centre only slightly further away
Beautiful building with lots of character, well located close to City centre( 15 mins walk). Friendly and helpful reception staff. Rooms are old style (in a good way), and very comfortable with all mod cons. Library on First floor has comfortable Sofas etc and complimentary coffee/snacks/water etc which was a great "oasis" in which to relax after a busy day shopping/sightseeing etc. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious and set us up for the day ahead. Overall would highly rate this hotel and look forward to returning soon. Just a Tip if you have a car do your homework on parking as street parking is expensive @2.60 per hour

Fabulous building, excellent staffPosted Mar 11, 2015
Amazing traditional building with beautiful features, excellent staff and great breakfast. Only disappointment was that the bedroom was very modern in design and not in keeping with the rest of the building and bathroom was very small with no bath only small shower.

A nice walk to the castle.Posted Mar 7, 2015
Pros: Beautiful main floor. Friendly staff.
Cons: The grey walls make the upper floors look like a prison. The windows didn't like to operate.
Location: Close to the castle.
came to Edinburgh for a few days as part of a trip. I enjoyed the walk to the castle but the wife thought it was a little long.

Great hotel and locationPosted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: Location, hotel staff, character of the old building although still modern and very comfortable. Nice breakfast. View of the castle from our room.
Cons: Cannot think of anything.
Location: Great location close to George St, Princes St and Haymarket Station but in a quiet street. Very easy to walk to places, lots of restaurants close by
We stayed at this hotel for an overnight trip to Edinburgh. B+B Edinburgh was perfect for our stay. The hotel is in a lovely old building, lots of character although the room was modern and very comfortable. Nice breakfast selection included and very helpful, welcoming staff.
