good location close to townPosted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: the location
Cons: some decor dated
it was unfortunate that the kitchen was out of action but the breakfast was still substantial and well presented staff were pleasant and helpful

Pros: The sea view - stunning
Cons: Breakfast times extend a bit. , efficiency topping up coffee etc and staff around bit more in afternoons.
This hotel is perfectly lovely for a short stay and the manin feature is its stunning location overlooking the sea. The rooms are clean and decor fine. However our room was at the top of the buiuilding and did not have a great view in fact a fire escape ! So to take advantage of the location when booking as for a sea view its stunning. The staff we met were friendly however in the afternoon when we arrived to meet friends we had difficulty finding anyone to serve at the bar etc so perhaps more staff needed at these times . Also the other negative was the breakfast times 7 am to 9 am which meant as many like ourselves who were on break there chose the later breakfast time . So there was a wait for a table!! When we did get seated the coffee juice etc were running low. and not replenished quickly . The cooked breakfast was excellent and made up for the other negatives. regarding the breakfast time etc .

Location superbPosted Apr 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel location was outstanding providing it with superb views of the sea from all rooms along the rear of the hotel and the restaurant. The room we had suffered a little from noises from adjacent rooms and the connecting door did not help but we were able to put up with that. The service, whilst being very friendly, was a little dis-organized which showed itself particularly at breakfast. Having said all that, this does add a little charm and as the title suggests, the views are fantastic. Overall, we had a lovely stay,

just as well there was great sea viewsPosted Jun 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
hotel rooms are nothing like the description in there advert, the hotel could do with being overhauled from top to bottom, they are trying to upgrade the hotel, but unfortunately this is being done very poorly. The food was good but it was the same fixed menu every day, it was also noticed as the hotel got busy the portions of food got smaller. The staff were excellent although they were run of there feet as there was never more than one person on duty at a time. I would never return to or recomend this hotel to anyone which is a pity as this could be a very good hotel as its position with the sea views is excellent
