good city centre hotelPosted Jul 24, 2012
This was a well situated hotel in the centre of Edinburgh. The only too drawbacks were the limited parking and the fact that the comfortable room got rather too hot for us evening with the windows open.

A great base from which to explore Edinburgh.Posted Jul 23, 2012
I have used this hotel 4 times and really like it. It's location is walking distance for the old town, the castle and bruntsfield cafes and restaurants the road outside has taxies going past regularly. I have found the staff always professional, helpful friendly. The hotel is clean and well appointed. I have not easten in the restaurant in the evening but enjoy the breakfast. The free parking is an absolute godsend. Meter parking in Edinburgh is expensive.

Excellent location just out of the city centre, yet still convenient for everything. Helpful staff and good standard of room and comfort.

Walking distance from o;d town but in a good area.Posted Nov 21, 2011
Staffs were very helpful and accommodating. Allowing me to change rooms when it was my mistake. The breakfast good and plentiful. Rooms were very clean and well appointed. The Hotel is in a nice area within walking distance of the old town and the Castle in one direction and good coffee shops and restaurants in the other. This is the second time we have used the hotel and were not disappointed.

Weekend travelers from the USPosted Nov 24, 2010
The hotel was convenient as there were several bus lines into the city near the hotel. The staff were accomodating and nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the daily buffet breakfast. For what you get, the hotel was very reasonable priced, considering that we also received a complimentary room upgrade.
