All of our elegantly furnished bedrooms have newly refurbished private facilities, together with flat screen television, trouser press, tea/coffee facilities and hairdryers.

“Fantastic!”
As soon as we arrived at Caravel Guest House, we were made to feel welcome and were well looked after throughout our stay. The owner was friendly, as were the other members of staff there, and they went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was newly fitted and clean. We were initially worried about noise from the street as the room was at the front of the guest house, but it was a quiet place and both of us slept really well. It is very easy to get into the main part of town on foot, and even four months after having ankle surgery, the walk was absolutely fine for me. If I ever return to Edinburgh, I will definitely be staying at the Caravel Guest House again and would recommend this place as good value for money.
“City centre location”
I stayed at this hotel overnight while on a business trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, but looked a little worn, however the facilities were satisfactory. The city-centre location is ideal for seeing the sites of Edinburgh, and the pricing was competitive.
