Great hotel in a great locationPosted Jan 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
This apartment complex is located in a quiet street close to all of Edinburgh's attractions. The apartment was comfortable and really well equipped with top-notch furniture and equipment. Everything we could have needed was available in the apartment. All-in-all it is a really good hotel.

Nice apartment hotel, but not for WiFi!!Posted Dec 30, 2013
Very nice amenities, especially kitchen and shower. If you need reliable WiFi, however, choose elsewhere as the policy is to ban dot com sites and all internet telephony sites (Skype, Face time, Google Talk). Not to mention, the internet was "down" two of the three nights we were there. To check in for our flights on the last day, we had to post up at a coffee shop. Also, if it is your first trip to Edinburgh, you will likely not want to stay this far North. Opt for Old Town, to eliminate a 20+minute windy walk each time you want to see a site. However, the River Leigh walk was convenient, as well as George Street shopping (really nice UK boutiques!) and fancy nightclubs. The room itself was very nice, spacious, warm, and well kept.

Minor pointsPosted Dec 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very good overall but slight lack of storage for clothes. Kitchen was well equipped but lacked the litte extras like a roll of paper kitchen towels and some paper napkins A shower which could be unhooked for hair washing would be a boon and there was no non slip mat in the bteh beneath the shower ( to be fair the bottom of the bath didnt seem as slippy as some I have stood in!)

Pros: The roominess of the apartment and the amenities
Cons: The mattress needs to be replaced. It is sagging.
Location: This is centrally located in new town Edinburgh, with a fabulous view of Edinburgh Castle just on Castle street. It is close to shops and restaurant.
The Fountain Court Apartments were a wonderful place to stay. We loved the roominess, the amenities, and the awesome shower! Also, there is a heated towel rack to dry your towels after use. The kitchen was wonderful, containing a dishwasher, washer/dryer combo, with tea, coffee, and serving ware. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone going to Edinburgh.

In a central yet quiet location, close to shops, restaurants, bars, galleries and only a few minutes' walk from Princes Street. The apartment was spotlessly clean, fully equipped with everything you might need. I arrived well before official check-in time hoping just to drop my bag but the room was ready. Reception staff efficient and helpful. A very happy stay! I will definitely use it again and would fully recommend.

Perfect Place for City CentrePosted Nov 3, 2013
Pros: The situation, the accommodation and the comfortable bed.
Cons: Access to parking, the lift and spaces were cramped and difficult to get into.
Location: A short stroll to George Street for great shopping. Also fantastic restaurants and bars very close to apartments, including Tigerlily and The Honours
Chose a serviced apartment for space and privacy. The Fountain Court was perfect for it's closeness to the city centre but was in a quiet street. It also had the advantage of offering parking which was really handy.
