Nice (but noisy) hotel close to train stationPosted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Room facilities, easy accessibility to public transport.
Cons: Make rooms more sound proof.
Nice and clean room. Even though smallish, it had everything you need. Staff was friendly and helpful and breakfast was nice tool. However, the walls of the room seem to have been made of cardboard as you could hear EVERYTHING that was going on in the room next door. So little sleep was had. Hotel close to train station, which makes travel to the centre of Edinburgh easy. Even though the hotel was nice, the rooms are rather old-fashioned though, and the hotel is very different (much lower standard) that other Hiltons we have stayed in.

Great hotel in the cityPosted Oct 12, 2014
Pros: Off the main road so no traffic noise, but within a 5min walk to the main park.
Cons: Shower was a bit small
Location: 20min walk from main station, 5min walk from newmarket.
Great hotel, arrived pretty late in the evening, checked in super fast. Note this hotel is over 2 buildings on the same road.

Very comfortable hotel close to Haymarket Station.Posted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: I liked the fact that it was close to route to airport, near bus and tram stop and had small shops and restaurants nearby.
Location: Easy to access city from nearby bus/tram stop and also in walking distance of city centre (for some)
We stayed in this hotel overnight while going abroad on holiday. It met all our requirements, had tea making facilities in the room and breakfast was excellent.

Not what we expectedPosted Aug 26, 2014
Compact double means exactly that. The small double bed is against the wall and you must climb over your partner to get out. Not good for a Hilton

We stayed here to use as a Base for an action packed tourist long weekend, it's about a 20 minute brisk walk to the centre or 5 mins to the tram stop which takes you into the centre
