Nice hotel within easy reach of city

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Great hotel. Easy to get to from the airport via tram. Staff very friendly, we arrived too early for check in but we were able to leave our bags and go exploring. Hotel is very close to tram and train station and it was only £3.50 pp for a day ticket on the tram. The tram into the city only takes about 10 mins. The hotel Room was very clean, nice bathroom and bedroom. Breakfast good although I did think it was a little pricey at £13.95. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Our window was broken so we got upgraded. Room for was nice and clean. Pool was lovely and warm. Breakfast was 14 pounds each so we went to the tesco cafe across the road the next day!

Not a four star hotel (stayed April 3-6 2015)

Posted Apr 8, 2015
Pros: 5minute walk to tram stop and Scottish Rail plus there is a Krispy Kreme restaurant across for doughnut lovers
Cons: This should be advertised as a 3star and not a 4star hotel. This is more like a Travelodge hotel.
Pros: Quick check-in and check-out. Close to transport links so does not matter if it is not in the central city. Krispy Kreme Restaurant across for doughnut lovers. Comfortable bed. There is a supermarket across the road if anyone wants to buy food supplies/water for cheaper price. Cons: 1) Very warm in the room; we had the window opened all night and even requested housekeeping to leave it open during the day. For a four star hotel, they should have proper air conditioning, we could not even lower the temperature below 19C. 2) Buffet breakfast was below average and this is the first time I stayed in a hotel where I did not even finish 1 plate. So please do not pay for breakfast in advance even they offer any discout. 3) You feel like you are in a travelodge. Definitely not a four star hotel. I would still recommend this hotel though for the price and transport links but do not expecta four star hotel. Try to first find a 3star hotel in the central city or a cheaper four star.

Nettes Hotel in Flughafennähe

Posted Apr 7, 2015
Alles in allem vollkommen in Ordnung.

Pleasant hotel, great location & fantastic staff

Posted Apr 4, 2015
My family and I were overall quite pleased with the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful, polite and clearly understood the importance of excellent customer service. The location was great, only 2 stops from the airport on the tram although I must add those 2 stops were pricey; £5 for adults and £2.50 for children. In regards to our family room... It was spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. The downside was the room was cold at times, we had the thermostat at the highest but we were still cold. In terms of cleanliness I would advise that the carpets are changed as they looked unclean and stained. I personally was quite upset that the Sauna Room was out of service, it was what I was most looking forward to whilst staying at this hotel. Overall, I would recommend Novotel Edinburgh Park Hotel. It has minor faults but we enjoyed our stay.

Location: The location was quite a bit away from town centre, but the tram service is excellent and takes no time to get in,costs £1.50 per adult one way.
this is our second visit to this hotel and it wont be our last, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable and my daughter had plenty room in the sofa bed.The breakfast is excellent where you just help yourself and plenty variety, will be back again.
