“An excellent stay!”

A pleasant 20 minute walk from Princes St and the Castle, and with a good selection of restaurants nearby, we went to mumbai mansion which is opposite the hotel, which was very good, would also like to try Chop Chop next time as it has excellent reviews. The hotel was everything you expect from Premier and the service excellent. Breakfast was busy but everything fresh and topped up regularly. We would definitely stay here again.

“The bees knees”

This is the first time for me at Premier Inn Edinburgh Haymarket . I would stay here again with no hesitation, as everything about it was superb. The quality of the Inn was great. Food, room, and the hospitality, privacy etc. was amazing at reasonable prices.

“Easy 1night stay”

Just needed one night's stay for sleep and no other amenities. The staff were very friendly and helpful in sorting out some of the extras-- checking for possibility to check-in slightly early, giving directions, etc. Best for me was location-- proximity to downtown, train station, and just one street away from the Airlink bus to the airport.

“Service with Smiles”

We liked that we could control the heating as necessary. THe folk at reception were perfect..h elpful, courteous, and very pleasant, all with big smiles. The hotel was very central for us and the car park a big bonus.

Rather basic feel to the hotel Friendly staff Tea & Coffee facilities in in the room - only just enough for 2 people ie 2 tea bags, 2x coffee sachets Near Haymarket station and airport bus stop therefore good position

“OK to reserve, with reservations”

Edinburgh can be tough to find a good value for hotel expenses. This hotel is basic, but as with many things, just a little effort could make a big difference. The room had no color on the walls. All white and institutional. The kitchen dishwasher may be malfunctioning because the dishes, glasses, plates and flatware were poorly cleaned. Maybe they didn't use soap. This was not the first hotel I found in Edinburgh that eliminated the top sheet on the bed. This is really not a good hygene practice. I requested a top sheet and it was promptly provided. Then it was removed the next day. Gross. The toilet had trouble clearing. The heated towel bar never heated, despite the promise from the front desk otherwise. On the upside, the bed was comfortable, the television worked fine and the staff were helpful. Just nothing to write home about.

“Not returning”

Did the job for a recent visit up to Edinburgh for a wedding. However, our room smelt of drains, the bathroom was dirty, paint and furnishings somewhat tired and generally a little under maintained. A bit disappointing given what I felt were half decent reviews and a relatively high price for what we experienced. WIFI not available in our room despite info to the contrary. Location useful for city centre and service half decent, but completely let down by general lack of cleanliness and stinky room!
