“"Not Impressed"”
The room is not claea nad one bed is almost demolished, and the hair dryer is not there. Overall the hotel is not goos for me, compared the other hotels expliia.com recommend in other city. Oknly the access to the airport is convient, but I will not stay there anymore!!!! Raddison blue in Oslo and the Glasgow lofts is wonderful for me. “Edinburgh Airport Quality Hotel”
The only things the Edinburgh Airport Quality Hotel has going for it are a convenient location for air travellers, a reasonablty acceptable restaurant, and a helpful staff. Both the building and its operation show too many signs of cost-cutting MBA influence. Our room was miniscule, and had no ventilation other than a window which could be opened only two inches (evidently a security feature). The only smaller hotel room I have ever had was in Kowloon. All of this could be excused if the rates were economical, and they certainly are not. The good news is that it was available, whereas the nearby Hilton was not.
“Nice pad to alight prior to early flight”
Shold be retired executive couple found i a good value for the money and for what we wanted . . . a bed near the airport where we could leave early the next morning. Rooms small, but clean, and efficient. Biggest drawback is long walk from elevator.
“When you can't sleep until 1 am and have a plane to catch at 5 am, then this is a bad airport hotel”
An office party was taking place which blocked up the entire reception area. Then their music went on until 1 in the morning blasting throughout then entire hotel. Complaints did not change anything.
“Edinburgh Airport Hotel stay”
The hotel is good in general and very near the airport. The bad thing is the walls are paper thin and i could hear the man next door to our room snoring...He kept me awake most of the night. I actually thought it was my husband and he thought it was me until we realized that 'no' it was our neighbor in the next room.
“Great service; does it's job.”
Pros - Near the airport, relatively clean and quiet, extremely helpful service, free internet if you ask. Cons - Not of the newest condition (not terribly run down either), may walk down three hallways to get to your room.
