Nice room but noisy.Posted Nov 25, 2013
Pros: The room and friendliness of the staff.
Cons: Sound proofing!
Location: Close to royal mile, 5-10 minute walk i'd say. Really good location for the cost.
I'm sure we were just unlucky as a rugby match was on so the noisy rugby crowd were staying here but we had the worst night's sleep ever. I'd stay here again but would bring earplugs just in case. On the plus side the apartment was lovely, had everything you needed.

Affordable, clean and comfortable studio apartmentPosted Sep 22, 2013
Pros: The price (considering how expensive Edinburgh can be to stay in)
Cons: Perhaps a slightly larger bed.
Affordable, clean and comfortable studio apartment in a great location in Edinburgh. Within walking distance of the Royal Mile, Arthur's seat and dozens of great pubs as well as the National Museum of Scotland. The building is operated by the University of Edinburgh and was perfect for a lengthy stay in the city

ExpensivePosted Aug 24, 2013
Cons: Sheet on bed, curtains that close, comfortable seats
The apartment had only 1 comfortable char, double bed had a duvet which was too hot and no sheet. The curtain was broken and would not pull across, good location but expensive for what we got ,no parking.

Had great stay. Could walk to town easily. Was in Edinburgh in August for the fringe and military tattoo. Great. Lots to do. Only problem with hotel was no fans and very little air ventilation. It was a small apartment.

Edinburgh apartment was really good.Posted Aug 7, 2013
Pros: Layout of the modern appartment
Cons: Bleak window view.
Location: Near a main road off the Royal Mile.
The apartment was close to the Royal Mile. A fantastic cooking facility with everything you would need to cook. Good little fridge and TV. I would have loved a 2 seater lounge to watch tv in. Its student accomodation in the rest of the floors but really quiet. View out the window was stark no greenery. My double bed was upstairs on upper floor which was cosy. Bathroom facilities were modern and lovely fluffy white towels. Nice 24 hour reception guys. I really enjoyed my 3 days here.

Very good apartmentsPosted Jul 17, 2013
Just stayed for one night. The room was clean, a good size and well equipped. It would be excellent for a longer stay. The apartments are about 10-15 mins walk from the station and close to bus routes so it's easy to get around.

Great overall but some minor disappointmentsPosted Jul 15, 2013
Pros: The location and cleanliness
Cons: cramped bed and intrusive wifi information
Location: Central, right by the University and Lidl was right around the corner.
The location was great, the only few problems were that the bed was very close to the wall ceiling, in fact section of the ceiling was above the bed and my wife hurt herself by banging her elbow. The space was very tight for the corner of the bed. Also, don't expect a view, there isn't one, and finally the free Wifi wasn't that great, you had to create an account with too many personal details I didn't want to give, but as I said earlier, it was an overall pleasant experience and we would go again.

Just what we neededPosted Jul 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
We needed to move out of our flat while builders moved in and these apartments were the perfect place to stay. We had all the laundry, storage, bathroom, internet and kitchen facilities we needed to live our normal working lives but with clean linens and a really helpful reception on hand and an unintrusive housekeeping staff. The only downside was that the room was very warm (especially the bed area) but the street outside was too noisy to have the windows open for long or overnight. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the location is central with all the shops, restaurants and public transport you could need! All for a great price. Would highly recommend.
