Very stylish and comfortable hotelPosted Jun 23, 2015
Great location as not in a noisy area but only ten minute walk from city centre including grass market bars and the castle. Had a room on the Starwood preferred guest level which was a welcome surprise. Very funky colour changing lights in the bathroom were a quirky touch!

Very nice hotel in the centre of EdinburghPosted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: Excellent breakfast especially the homemade granola!
Cons: The air con was a bit noisy in the room so when we turned it off to get a better sleep it was too hot.
Location: Right in the middle of Edinburgh, everything within walking distance.
Great service, friendly staff. 5 star experience from start to finish. It was pricey and I expected that but didn't mind because the facilities and service were reflected the price paid.

Very nice hotel well situated.Posted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: The hotel decor was very nice particularly inside our room, although I never did get to grips with the lighting!
Cons: Some information on the room lighting would have helped me!
Location: Situated very centrally to the main shopping areas and most of the tour buses stop just across the road from the main hotel entrance.
Found the hotel staff extremely helpful and friendly, all requests dealt with promptly. A minor criticism however, was that on the evening we dined in the restaurant, even though there were only four other diners, we had a little wait for our dinner.

Nice hotel-close to many attractions. great staffPosted Jun 5, 2015
Location: The Castle, Royal Mile, Princess street, St Giles, Usher Hall, and many local restaurants to get opportunity to socialize with locals.
We arrived early in the morning from the US and were able to get into our room early to rest for an hour or two so could beat jet lag. Front desk staff was great and maids were excellent for travelers that come in and out at odd times from sightseeing. Very modern room appointments .which I usually do not like but these were well planned and we enjoyed them. Restaurant pricey but food good and service was excellent. Good hotel in great location.

Nice hotelPosted Jun 1, 2015
Pros: Nothing to dislike really, apart from the toilet light which only came on if bedroom lights were turned on, bit of a pain during the night.
Cons: If I was a single occupant I would receive a comp bottle of water, we were 2 and still only one small bottle of water.
Location: Good location, easy access to everything.
Good location, don't get a cab from airport, take the Tram, £5, very clean and comfotable, get off at Princes St West(approx 30 mins), opposite is Canning street which leads to the Sheraton, 5 min walk. 10 min to castle, 10 to Princes St on foot, didn't walk to Holyrood but if you like a reasonable walk this will be no problem. George St for food or even Rose St, we purchased a 48hour bus tour ticket which gave us entrance to the Royal Yacht, Holyrood and the castle, saved around £40, Lovely city, will definitely visit again.

Close proximity to attractionsPosted May 30, 2015
Pros: Clean and comfortable.
Cons: Toilet adjacent to bathroom far too small. buffet breakfast should be included in the high nightly rate.
Location: Perfect location. Just a short walk to the castle and to Prince's Street.
Very pleasant experience. This was just a two-night stay to see the sights, so in effect I did not take advantage of the hotel's facilities. I thought that a coffee shop would have been a bonus. The price of food in the restaurant seemed a little expensive.

Great hotel. Just a 5 minute ride to the Edinburgh Castle (5 Pound taxi fare). Also great location, close to the best restaurants in town. Most of the taxi rides were 5 Pounds. Very clean, great rooms. Will stay there again.
