Well-equipped, comfortable apartments

Posted Jul 27, 2014
We were very impressed with the level of cleanliness and the facilities available at the StayCity Edinburgh. The apartments were very well-equipped. We were surprised to see that there was even a washing machine and a dishwasher! The location was excellent as well - Grassmarket was only a 20 minute walk away. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Great for Family economy.

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Modern. Well designed. Safe. Secure. Quiet. Accessible. Value.
Cons: Just a little more cleaning. Definitely window opening instructions and when it is very warm some FREE fans. (we had the one from reception desk!!- ))
Location: Supermarket nearby for essentials. Ten minutes to City Centre. Cafe etc 5 mins.
Room ready when stated although a little dusty and seats could have done with a clean. Window opening could be a bit of a mystery if not determined to gain a breeze! Excellent parking and lift to and from, very secure. My fussy children very pleased with all. Excellent and just what was needed to suit pocket. Ideal for easy access to City centre. 9 out of 10...

Pros: good location in quiet residential neighborhood but close to everything. well stocked.
Cons: sofa in living room was very uncomfortable to sit on or sleep on as a sofa bed.
Location: residential area but close to Grassmarked area and other shopping and historical points. good restaurants and a grocery store are also close by.
great stay again, excellent and helpful staff. location is close to historical attractions, shopping, restaurants and a grocery store.

Stayed at Staycity Service apartment on a business trip to Edinburgh. The stay was very comfortable, staff were great. The sofa and kitchen cutleries were of high standards and apartment had homely feeling. Will recommend to others

Fairly convenient but a little uncomfortable

Posted Jun 24, 2014
My family of four stayed in Staycity apartments for 3 days in Edinburgh. Overall it was okay and fairly conveniently located. However, the main reason I chose to stay here was so I could wash some close during our travels. The washer/dryer combo in the apartment had a very small capacity, was very loud during certain cycles, and did not dry our clothes ( it was more like "steaming" them), so I actually had to request a drying rack to get them dried. It was better than nothing, but I was a little disappointed. The beds were not very comfortable and the sink in the bathroom was poorly designed if you were washing your face in it. Still, overall, for a few days' time, it was okay.

Nice view of Canal

Posted Jun 20, 2014
We were upgraded to a town house. It was very spacious with main bedroom having a ensuite. The living room had a balcony -a great view of the canal. The wooden floors and work tops/dining table were not wiped down and were slightly sticky. But other than that a nice comfy stay.
