Fabulous Hotel in a central location!Posted Oct 28, 2013
Pros: Staff, location and the beautiful rooms.
Cons: The hotel has recently been refurbished however I think the rooms have been exempt, as some of the furnature is scratched and the bathrooms although i
Location: Theatre and cinema next door with a selections of restaurants. Shopping centre and the high street a short walk and access to all other tourist spots.
We always stay at this hotel when we visit Edinburgh. The hotel situated close by to Princess Street and the and easily accessible to all the hotspots that Edinburgh has to offer! The staff are always polite and friendly and will do anything to make your stay more enjoyable. The hotel has undergone some refurbishments making the stay more luxurious. We were lucky to stay in a suit which with floor to ceiling windows, balcony and large bed really make you feel like royalty. The rooms are clean with various gadgets and snacks to keep you entertained and if there is anything you want call the staff and they will get it! The is a snug with an honesty bar to relax in the evenings and a restraint which we have yet to sample. Last year we had breakfast in our room which was amazing, although a little bit pricey. I will always recommend this hotel,

felt very exclusive and very quietPosted Oct 23, 2013
Pros: roof top terrace and the rooms
Cons: nothing really
Location: close to everything
lovely rooms - amazing rooftop garden - we had a garden room - doors led out on to the terrace garden - would be lovely in summer. no main bar - just a snug - which was very comfortable. Did not hear any noise the whole time we were there - felt very posh and exclusive. Great staff If you want a lively hotel with a good bar - it is not the one for you we would return back

Gorgeous Modern HotelPosted Oct 21, 2013
Cons: Curbside check in is difficult at best.
Location: Everything is nearby. The castle, the shopping, the restaurants. Everything. Great local.
The check-in was easy, but the load in difficult. The location is the busiest intersection in Edinburgh, and there is no pull over, and the taxi line up also interferes. That said, once in the hotel...WOW! Gorgeous. Great breakfast too. Our room was fab overlooking the "garden" and park above. We loved the bathtub too. And turn down includes a big bottle of water (sparkling or still) and a yummy dark chocolate candybar. Loved that! Would have liked a pool, but can't have everything. Loved the hotel overall.

A unique hotel in centre of Edinburgh. Beautiful roof garden with views of Carlton Hill and across the city towards the Forth. Interior requires that you walk quite a long way to reach your room. Quiet and secure hotel. Attractive decor,
