“Very nice place”

I found the hotel to be a step up from the regular "chain" hotels I might normally stay at. The rooms were large and modern with flat screens and even an iPod with over 2k songs. Very nice walk in glass shower. Downstairs the bar was always hopping though I couldn't hear a sound upstairs. The breakfast and room service was also very good. Its also located close to all the best restaurants, bars and the castle. I would definitely recommend staying here and plan to do so again in the future.

“The only thing I liked about Scotland”

This hotel was fabulous. Hip decor, large room with tons of amenities (housecoats, flat screen tv, free internet, fruit, free bottled water). Staying here was the best part of the trip.

“beautiful modern hotel”

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Tigerlily and didn't want to leave. Check-in was a bit weird-- had to walk through the bar and check in at what seemed to be the hostess desk for the restaurant. Our room was large and comfortable with pretty views. Loved the large, very modern bathroom and salon-grade hair dryer, and this is the extra nice touch, the flatiron straightener. Mist-induced frizzies be gone! Didn't go to the bar, but it seemed happening.

Good location, uniquely designed rooms, though staff isn't all that knowledgeable about local public transportaion, etc.

“Great Time in Edinburgh”

We recently spent 3 nites at the Tigelily Hotel after spending a week in London. The room was great...probably 3 times bigger than our room in London. The barstaff was very friendly and we really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay at the Tigerlily on our next trip to Edinburgh.
