Property was under construction and felt unclean. After booking, we received an email indicating that the pool and hot tub were unavailable. Check in was slow. Room keys did not work to access elevators so had to return to the line up. Breakfast was very basic. All could have been forgiven if price reflected the conditions but I did not feel that we got good value for the amount paid.

The carpet looked new and clean. The room was clean and enjoyed having five pillows. The hot breakfast was good. Unfortunately, the hot tub was dirty and even though a couple of other guests asked for towels no more arrived so the last nine of us had no towels to use. The clerk for check in and check out was polite and informative.

The place was currently under renovation so I can’t judge the cleanliness of the hallways and lobby. But in the room we saw multiple stains in the sheets and the room was all around not overly clean. We did get to enjoy the pool and hot tub area which was nice and the staff was also helpful and friendly.

This property is under major renovations. We didn't realize how bad until we checked in and there's literarily no flooring in the lobby. Got stuck in the elevator for several minutes before it finally opened. The rooms itself are good, clean and taken care of. Great location near West Edmonton Mall. The staff are extremely polite and excellent customer service. There was a staff member vacuuming at 9pm at night on our floor which we thought was odd and very annoying. Other than that, you get what you pay for.

This hotel unfortunately had no vending machines to buy water or pop. They were on the 2nd floor, but key cards only work for the floor that you’re staying on. Employee at desk, said that they were all sold out. Tried calling down to the front desk a couple times no answer as we had problem with toilet. I had to go down to front desk to ask for maintenance to come. The area is safe and easy to get to the WEM.

It was close to the mall. The price wasn't terrible but the place was torn apart. Email said only the pool and hot tub were under construction. The whole place looks to be under construction. My advice...wait. They're obviously upgrading. Room was ok nothing special. We asked for some glasses and they were delivered in a garbage bag. A little unexpected. Take what you will from this review. Not the worst I've been in and not the best. But I'll definitely stay elsewhere next time. Good luck hotel hunting.

the whole lobby was under construction. We were given a room directly above the work as it was being done. This also placed us above the front door where at 3am a hockey team gathered to smoke talk and laugh loudly. The restaurant was out of the 1970s and not well maintained with paint missing on several walls and broken furniture. The food was so bad we never returned. Lastly as with all hotels now no one cleaned our room while we were there over three days. When you pay for a room it should be cleaned everyday not just the day you arrive. Staff however were very nice

first- front desk was unmanned with a sign "back in 10 min" staff was very brusque when they did arrive. Elevator was not functioning when I returned for the evening. Stairs required outside entrance-quite a distance for senior. Requested pet free room- assigned room was not and no others available. Could smell animal. Hallways and elevators were obviously dated. Room was quite nice and clean except for smell.

First off, booked a non-refundable room and only got a message from the hotel after I had already booked, that the pool, hot tub, and gym were out of commission. Would have been nice to know before booking a non-refundable stay - I definitely would have chosen a different hotel as there’s many around the area. As for the room, the pillows are hard & lumpy, and one of the queen beds squeaked every time a person even slightly moved in it. Not conducive to a good sleep at all. Staff were polite & efficient, but I would choose to stay elsewhere next time.

The front desk staff was very friendly. I made my decision to pick this hotel because of the price, location, and the fact that they had a workout room. After getting ready to workout, I went to the equipment room and it was locked. I was then told it was closed for maintenance. It’s unfortunate they don’t update the Expedia listing to state the gym is closed, to avoid disappoint. I would have picked a different hotel had I known this.
