there for the CCMA's

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: proximity to shopping, LRT, good restaurants
Cons: plumbing repair and tub replacement. paint and spruce up the ceiling and walls
Location: City centre mall is right out the door. you don't even have to go outside. same with getting to the LRT station
We stayed 3 nights, slept quite well. the biggest disappointment was the bathroom. the tub was quite beaten up, looked stained and dirty. of course it had been cleaned but it was not nice looking. the sink cold water tap was also leaking, drip drip drip. the ceiling had water and damage marks. the staff were excellent and very helpful

Hotel ok

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Location
Location: In the hotel no everything nearby
The staff were nice at this hotel, and the rooms were ok but VERY outdated. There was no pool or hottub, and was hard to get around to find everything.

Excellent location for attending events at rexall

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Nice staff. Decent room. Hotel is in mall that connects to train without going outside. Perfect location if you are attending event at rexall or coliseum. Put vehicle in valet parking and enjoy your evening!

Needs some updated rooms

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Cons: This hotel needs some updating in the worst way, particularly the carpet and the bath tubs.
Location: It was downtown and looked into a shopping mall. Kind of strange
Only stayed one night. Hotel seemed dated. Bathtub was quite scratched up and had jets in it which to me are very unhygienic.

Dark and tired

Posted Sep 3, 2014
Pros: Good location
Room only had a window to the foyer which I had to keep shut for privacy. This made the room very dark. Its also starting to look tired.

Downtown location, great city view

Posted Aug 28, 2014
Pros: Friendly & helpful front desk. When we left the desk clerk followed us outside to give our 7 yr old a plush toy and colouring book. She was thrilled
Cons: Very dated and bland, uninspiring decor. Parking has no direct access to elevator.
Location: Hard to find, even with Google map, due to road construction and to fact that street is short and cut off.
Had a 1 bdrm suite. Inadequate lighting in non-windowed areas was very noticeable and caused eyestrain as well as a sombre mood. Parking was in city lot next door with no direct access by walkway or elevator to hotel. Had to schlep all luggage out via the parking entrance ramp, onto street, and then in thru revolving doors. When we arrived, no luggage trolley was available.

nice location in the downtown

Posted Aug 26, 2014
It's great hotel, the location is in the center of the downtown in edmonton, and everything is near you there, but u was disappointed about the staff there, they didn't offer any help with the luggage when checking in and out, but overall it's a great hotel, clean rooms, and i enjoyed staying there
