Defiantly in need of some upgrades

Posted Mar 3, 2015
Pros: Pet Friendly, room service was fantastic.
Cons: Carpets, base of tub, cleanliness of floors and ceiling. Better parking for "larger vehicles".
Location: Location is down town so close to many local pubs and dinning, not to mention its also attached to the mall.
My boyfriend and I decided to book a night away for Valentines day and were looking for a spot that had a Jetted tub or Jacuzzi and was also Pet Friendly. While the hotel did meet both of those accommodations I was a little disappointed with the rooms cleanliness. I didn't realize when I booked the hotel the dog restrictions were under 50lbs and my dog is probably around or over that. I was happy this didn't seem to cause any issues. Most of the staff put on a smile as we walked by with her although some of them were terrified (which just makes me giggle). As for the room itself, the carpets were pretty old and "dirty looking", I had found what seemed to be a finger or toe nail in the bedroom... I couldn't think about it too much. I'm not a big complainer but this just didn't sit well with me. Also, I don't know if people look up in their hotel rooms but the ceiling was fairly dusty/dirty. We ordered two of the French onion soups from the rooms service and they were fantastic. Quick and DELISH! I don't think I would stay here again unless I had no other options.

Decent hotel if you have a conference in the mall

Posted Mar 3, 2015
The hotel itself was in a sketchy area but because the conference I was attending was in the mall, it was OK. Staff was friendly but the hotel seemed pretty overpriced for the quality.

Convenient for shopping.

Posted Mar 2, 2015
Pros: Easy access to Shaw Conference Center and Citadel Theatre; never have to go out side. Shopping is just off the elevator.
No windows in room. Could smell people smoking in next room. Inconsistent maid service, one day got no coffee and machine hadn't been cleaned.

Nice hotel in a mall

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: Quiet and mall access is wonderful
Cons: Have oversized parking identified and explained on website
Location: unknown was there for a semianr
The room was quiet and clean. Parking is difficult and valet parking is confusing as there is no direction on the process and no attendants available to explain process. Has a tendency to place on hold when you phone direct.

Access

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Enjoyed my stay at the hotel, access to stores , resturants etc kept me from going out in the cold. I even got to help the homeless people some peopleay look at their presence as a negative but they didn, really bother me too much and the hotel security was great. Yes i will stay there again, loved it.

Convenient location, somewhat dated

Posted Feb 16, 2015
This hotel is conveniently located for downtown Edmonton activities. The rooms are somewhat dated and could use a refresh. However, they are clean and comfortable.

Needs renovating

Posted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: Close to shopping
Cons: Clean elevators, rugs etc
Location: Shopping and downtown events
The parking garage is confusing, dirty and a little unsettling with homeless people trying to get our attention. Heating in room was very hot and uncomfortable and the staff couldn't fix it.

Girlfriends PJ Party

Posted Feb 10, 2015
Pros: The room was very spacious, extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. Very quiet. The staff at check in very friendly. Fridge in room.
Cons: Bathroom upgrade .
Location: Excellent central location. Close to public transportation, shopping malls, theater/concert district a range of restaurants.
The four of us had a great overnight stay. The hotel was very accommodating with providing us with extra wine glasses and coffee cups for our other friends that dropped in for a drink before going out to dinner. We loved that the hotel locks the elevators at 6 pm as it is a downtown hotel with access to the LRT. The hotel is situated within close walking proximity to many fabulous restaurants.
