Nice hotelPosted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: Casino attached, Nice rooms
Cons: Remove the Internet surcharge!
Location: Casino, a couple high end restaurants and close to west Edmonton mall
Were easy to deal with and tried to accommodate most of our request. Room decor is the usual however they did have a large flat screen TV in the room which was nice. They do charge for internet with 2 tiers which is extremely silly and should be a given in this day and age. (8.99 and 13.99/Day). Overall was a really good hotel with all the amenities.

Close to all services & easily accessible.Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: Excellent service
Cons: Other than the pricey brunch - nothing.
Location: Once the road construction is completed, it is very conveniently located right off the Antony Henday!
Disappointed with the price of the Sunday brunch. Excessively priced for a family with children & no menu to order from. Went elsewhere s the kids could eat smaller amounts at more reasonable prices.

Great getaway.Posted Aug 17, 2014
Booked day of stay. Drove in and was pleasantly greeted. Mentioned the stay was primarily for the wife's birthday. The front desk person offered us a chilled white in the room. Complementary. Nice. We also stayed in the concierge floor with access to the concierge lounge. It was a nice light dinner and snacks. The honour bar was good, however beer selection was limited. Apparently I'm a beer snob. We went down for some casino action and kept our own and actually left the crap table a little ahead. Roulette kicked out butts though. The slots were really tight unfortunately. I was a little surprised when the waitress couldn't pull beer out of the 25 taps place. The casino wasn't too smoky but occasionally we got a smoke. Ah well. For breakfast we had eggs n sausage in the concierge lounge. Quick checkout and we stopped at the Costco cross the road.

Stayed here before.Staff is great!!!A $5 coupon for the casino was a joke.Give $50-it's all going back anyways! The breakfast buffet should be included in the cost.We have family in Edmonton and will absolutely stay here again. We have stayed in MANY hotels and your staff is the one of the most courteous and prompt that I have had. Nice hotel, worst buffetPosted Aug 13, 2014
Hotel was great, beds way to small...get rid of the doubles and get queens! The buffet was the worst I've ever put to my lips....cold over cooked the salads were soggy! I'd stay there again but wouldn't eat there ever again!

This was a nice hotel they even had my room changed from a king size bed into 2 double beds because of last minute plans that have change so my brother can also stay too.

Always a great placePosted Aug 10, 2014
Location: Close to West Edmonton Mall Casino in the hotel is fun. Starbucks onsite Costco across the street
We have stayed here many times, and it is consistantly excellent. Marriotts have the best beds and linens. The food at the Rivercree Kitchen and the pub is awesome! We like having the breakfast buffet in the Kitchen most mornings. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Very nicePosted Aug 7, 2014
Pros: nicely decorated, clean, comfortable
Cons: upholstered chair could have been cleaner
Location: The avenue that runs past it to the west is a cow path and should be avoided. Missed the turn - thought there would be obvious signage.
Very nice hotel, interesting decor, comfortable room but not overly large with a fabulous view of the roof of the casino. Bathroom a bit on the smallish side too. Room nicely appointed with the exception of the obligatory slightly grubby upholstered chair - seems to be a theme with Edmonton hotels. Still one of the nicest in Edmonton.
