Good bones - great value.

Solid value. An older facility but with good bones (room was quiet and comfortable, bed excellent, plumbing that worked properly, excellent room service, excellent complimentary breakfast) The staff were friendly and professional. Central location was appreciated. The check in and check out was very efficient. I would stay there again.

I love this hotel. Very conveniently located for easy access to rexall place, downtown and west edmonton mall. They have always been nice and very very accommodating. We have never had any problems. They also have a delicious restaurant and ca complimentary breakfast ( also very delicious)

Stinkie room

We asked for a pet friendly room and we were told the pet friendly rooms are the smoking rooms. Just because you have pets doesn't mean y like nasty smells. I was disappointed that they did not use some type of room deodorizer.

A great hotel
Posted Jan 6, 2013
Pros: The appearance of the lobby and restaurant food was great.
Location: Great location with shopping nearby and lots of places for walking.
The front desk service was very good. Lots of parking room. Room had a bar fridge and a microwave which came in handy. Room included a full service breakfast which was excellent - great selection. The lobby and restauarant area is very attractive. Overall it was an excellent stay and would definitely go back.G

Pros: The buffet breakfast
I got a good price in our room, but when we got there we realized that we got the smoking room. They couldn't give us another room that night, but they got us into a non- smoking room for the next day.

Ghetto style

Cons: In need of Reno in the tower.
Location: Not much around to eat.
Dirty, old, uncomfortable. Would not recommend. No places to go outside hotel. Good for young adults that plan to drink or have room parties.

Thank-you for your comments, which I have shared with my team. Our north tower is in need of a refresh, and our rates reflect this. We hope you will visit us again and stay in our East tower where our rooms and hallways were more recently updated.

mixed review

Pros: chef
Cons: wi fi
Location: edmonton is small - not in the centre of town but reasonably close
tired hotel heating controls didnt work in the well sized room, lucky it had a balcony - maintenance guy commented "oh that's a really old thermostat" but didnt change it hotel restaurant has an excellent chef, but portion size challenged Hotel has several wings - i do know i wasnt put in the newest bed comfortable wi fi abominally slow TV challenged room fixtures ancient but adequate nice bathroom - obviously touched up fairly recently front desk staff overly familiar, mediocre efficient general decor badly dated challenging hotel for those with handicaps - too many ramps inside the hotel, none outside - just stairs cleaning staff were charming, wait staff ranged from gifted to appalling

Thank you for your recent review of the Ramada Hotel & Conference Centre. We pride ourselves on our property upkeep and attention to detail, but clearly we were not up to standards on your stay, and for that I am truly sorry. I have followed up with my team, and the issues have been fixed. Thank you for bringing them to our attention – it helps us get better.
