“A Dead Sea oasis”

There is a peaceful and pampering quality to this hotel that is right across the street from the Dead Sea. The beach facility is lovely with easy entry into the water and plenty of poles to hold onto while getting used to the buoyancy you experience. Loved the Ranch House restaurant on premises where we ate dinner and breakfast in the garden. The waitress was fabulous. It is worth getting a Moav room, on a club floor, which entitles you to use an all day lounge with food and complimentary beer/wine, and also entitles you to have breakfast at the Ranch House rather than the regular hotel restaurant.

“The Right Place, a true crowd pleaser”

The Isrotel was a wonderful and luxury treat for us after spending the day site seeing and rejunvenating ourselves in the Dead Sea. We are familiar with the area and what to expect from mid-priced hotels in Israel. The Isrotel is situated in an area filled with other high-end hotels and the area feels safe and well maintained. The check in process was simple, quick and informative, not sure why there were no bell hops to carry our luggage, just a half interested security guard to ask. We found a wonderful buffet style dinner and top notch Israeli style hotel breakfast; both meals were 4 star. Our suite was was regal, comfortable and large. We spent our time across the street at the slightly dated beach area and updated pool area. The pool was surrounded by a lovely grass area filled with lounge chairs and day beds. We would defintely stay at the Isrotel again and again.

“Dead Sea best hotel”

I have stayed in other hotels at the Dead Sea and so far, this is the best one I have been to. Hotel is very well maintained. Staff is pleasant. The only dark note was the use of the solarium. We had to call reception many times in order to get towels or beverages everyday as the water foutain wasn't working.

“Good, but not a top class hotel”

Facilities in the bedroom/bathroom were absolutely basic and minimal e.g one cake of soap, no face cloth, no bottled water, bar fridge was completely empty. But the place was clean, the spa area superb, and the meals totally acceptable

“Resort's one of the best”

We stayed 2 nights on the executive floor with the lounge access. For a small resort, which cannot be rated as a world class, this hotel is very good, including service, pool, public areas, spa, access to the private beach on the Dead Sea. The rooms are slightly outdated but satisfy the basic needs. You can get a good breakfast which is standard for 4-5 stars Israeli hotels. However do not expect to get a gourmet dinner at the hotel’s steak house though the portions and quality of meat are good.

The service at the restaurant was very weak. The waiter needed not only more training but also some customer catering training. And our requests were very basic. Consierge services were very limited. The bathroom was missing basic amenities (although we received some after calling downstairs). Overall is an OK hotel. Pool hours are too short for a resort with limited evening activities.

“Dead Sea Resort Hotel -- not bad”

Not bad is the best I can write...Access to the Dead Sea beach was ok, but the room was not clean, and the hotel ignored our request for separate beds. The hotel breakfast was pretty good, however, and I liked the pool.

“For old people only”

Dead Sea is beautiful, but only worth a day trip and not an overnight. hotel was packed with the over 60+ age group. nothing to do at night, no where to go. hotel staff were great but there was mold in the bathroom. only a place to go if your older and dont want any resturants or nightlife.
