Can't go wrongPosted Sep 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
From the moment we arrived we received outstanding customer service. The view of the Dead Sea from every room is breathtaking. I was impressed that even though The Isrotel caters to families with children, the staff was constantly cleaning glass doors and there were no little finger prints anywhere. The Spa is quite comprehensive and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Very noisyPosted Aug 10, 2013
This hotel was VERY noisy and overrun by kids. It was also very crowded. The parking was awful. I had to park on the street and walk up the hill with my bags to check in. Also, because the hotel was so crowded, to eat dinner in the restaurant you had to wait in a line that took over an hour to get in. The room was clean but the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. I had booked the hotel for two nights but I checked out after only one night because I was so uncmfortable. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Nice hotel at the Dead SeaPosted Jun 4, 2013
Pros: The restaurants and the spa were good. The staff was very helpful.
Cons: The closed the pool and the lounge areas by the Sea at 6:30.
Location: Location was great - across a small street from the Dead Sea (as are all the hotels in the area) but with a shuttle.
Nice hotel, nice spa, the room was ok, but the facility was very nice and the food was excellent.

Resort's one of the bestPosted Sep 29, 2011
We stayed 2 nights on the executive floor with the lounge access. For a small resort, which cannot be rated as a world class, this hotel is very good, including service, pool, public areas, spa, access to the private beach on the Dead Sea. The rooms are slightly outdated but satisfy the basic needs. You can get a good breakfast which is standard for 4-5 stars Israeli hotels. However do not expect to get a gourmet dinner at the hotel’s steak house though the portions and quality of meat are good.

A Dead Sea oasisPosted Apr 10, 2011
There is a peaceful and pampering quality to this hotel that is right across the street from the Dead Sea. The beach facility is lovely with easy entry into the water and plenty of poles to hold onto while getting used to the buoyancy you experience. Loved the Ranch House restaurant on premises where we ate dinner and breakfast in the garden. The waitress was fabulous. It is worth getting a Moav room, on a club floor, which entitles you to use an all day lounge with food and complimentary beer/wine, and also entitles you to have breakfast at the Ranch House rather than the regular hotel restaurant.

A dream come true.Posted Oct 7, 2010 on Hotels.com
I rreally couldn't believe the experience i had there as it was really from another world. Everything was amazing, food especially good with a huge variety and everything scrumptious. The spa Dead sea water pools are out of this world with both indoor and outdoor pools simply amazing in that you can float through a little arch and then be in the outside pool then toddle in again when you are too hot to hte airconditioned pool. The spa is clean and very very relaxing and the decor is beautiful. The rooms were clean and great. The in hotel entertainment was fab, with a beautiful huge bar. The decor of the hotel is spectacluar and everywhere you look is beautiful. The Hotel staff were friendly and efficient,. and the music in the outside hotel pools was fabulous and relaxing kind of New Age stuff coming out of speakers which were rocks hidden amongst the flowers. The hotel has two outside pools which are georgeous too. Very relaxing. Great stuff Isrotel. I hope to hop down there again soon.

The Right Place, a true crowd pleaserPosted Jul 7, 2010
The Isrotel was a wonderful and luxury treat for us after spending the day site seeing and rejunvenating ourselves in the Dead Sea. We are familiar with the area and what to expect from mid-priced hotels in Israel. The Isrotel is situated in an area filled with other high-end hotels and the area feels safe and well maintained. The check in process was simple, quick and informative, not sure why there were no bell hops to carry our luggage, just a half interested security guard to ask. We found a wonderful buffet style dinner and top notch Israeli style hotel breakfast; both meals were 4 star. Our suite was was regal, comfortable and large. We spent our time across the street at the slightly dated beach area and updated pool area. The pool was surrounded by a lovely grass area filled with lounge chairs and day beds. We would defintely stay at the Isrotel again and again.

Great place, but don't eat at the restaurantsPosted Jul 26, 2009 on Hotels.com
We took two rooms for our family of 5 at this hotel for an overnight at the Dead Sea. It was at the southern end of Ein Bokek, the last among the hotels at the sea, and is a lovely hotel. The staff was fine and the sea convenient, though it required a short walk or golf cart ride to the dead sea itself. The hotel is not a spa like some, and doesn't offer huge entertainment for children like others. But if you want a clean place to stay, with easy access to the sea and reasonable rates, this is wonderful. The reasonable rates, however, do not extend to the restaurants at the hotel, which were outrageous. Thank goodness there is now an Aroma in Ein Bokek!
