“Excellent hotel right in the center of town”
The only problem I had with the Golden Tulip was finding it. What's humorous is that it is located on the town market square in plain sight. Warning: don't look for the words "Golden Tulip"; instead, look for a tulip sign and the word "Central." And forget about addresses--maybe 1 of 20 buildings have posted addresses! The main entrance is actually on the street behind the town square. If you follow directions, you enter, on the town square, the back door of a hotel with a name missing the words "Golden Tulip!"
That said, it was a wonderful stay, the room was fabulous, I had a large bathtub, comfortable bed, my room was facing the back street so was fairly sound proof. The breakfasts were excellent, staff very polite. You cannot beat the location--if you're traveling light, it's about a 10 minute walk to the train station; no taxi necessary. You will find the central location quite useful for exploring the town as well as getting back on the train for day trips to other cities. I add that the cost of train rides to other Netherland cities from Den Bosch is so inexpensive it's almost laughable. Also, unlike some other cities in the Netherlands, it's almost impossible to get lost in Den Bosch. At any rate, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Golden Tulip (or whatever it says on the sign) and have no compunctions recommending it. If noise bother you, you may want to ask for a back room, since the ones in the front face the town market, which is quite lively.
