Not sure how this got so many stars!

Pros: The staff
Cons: New carpet and better cleaning regime.
First the positive - the staff were really super and went out of their way to help us. The room was small and the carpet had stains on it and looked very unclean. The location is very central.

Good and reasonably priced place for business trip

Pros: location, service staff
Cons: Breakfast could be included for longer stays, e.g. 3+ days
Location: Shopping, get into train, dining around
I have stayed in this hotel several times. It continues to improve its service.

Good solid hotel

I have stayed here a few times and the rooms have always been good. Service is what you would expect. Best to eat out for breakfast and dinner as plenty of options in town. Not worth paying extra for breakfast

Reasonable hotel

Pros: Comfort, cleanliness and location.
Cons: They could allow windows to be opened.
Location: Right in middle of city. Very close to train/bus station (which links to airport).
The hotel is five minutes walk from Eindhoven train station. Check in was super easy. They tried to get us to stay in a 're-furbished' room for an extra 10 euros but we declined. The room we had was fine though. A clean bathroom with nice bath. Big, comfy bed. Only problem was the windows: there were no windows that could be opened so room got a bit stuffy and we had to use air conditioning on cold day which was a bit silly. Price was quite high but hotel is positioned right in the middle of Eindhoven. Felt a bit like a business hotel rather than holiday place (lots of smarmy business types around when we got there). But if you are going to Eindhoven I would recommend this hotel for location and comfort.

We are aware of the fact that our windows cannot be opened, but unfortunately this has to do with the construction of the building, and it will not be something we can change on a short term. Windows don't open

Alright hotel but windows don't open so rooms smell bad. I had to change into another one because the first one was really bad, second was a bit better. Wouldn't stay there again for that reason. If you have a cold or no sense of smell you might find this to be quite a decent hotel.

excellent hotel and location ideal for attending a swimming meet nearby. service of the staff was excellent too. However we were charged city tax €25 when the booking confirmation clearly states all fees and taxes are included in the price which was paid in full before arrival.

Please be advised that citytax is a tax that has to be paid to the city council, and can never be charged before the actual stay has taken place. Good location

My stay at the hotel was OK. The room was fit for purpose, friendly and helpful staff and ideally located. However, I wouldn't rate this as highly as 4/5. The room despite being non-smoking did smell slightly of cigarettes and you couldn't open the windows to air the room. the air-con worked well enough but you can't beat fresh air. Also, there were upgrades being made to the hotel - some of which started at around 7am - and my room rate was still high for what it was. The walls were also a bit thin. I could hear the next room on a couple of occasions.

Unfortunately, it might have happened that the previous guest was not aware of this and has smoked in the room. May I ask you if you have brought this to the attention of our Front Desk staff? They most likely would have offered you another room. Regarding the maintenance work being done; it is our goal to consistently provide superior service and accommodation and therefore we cannot avoid having to do maintenance work. Nevertheless, I would like to offer you my sincere appologies for any inconvenience it might have caused you. Good location, centrally located

Pros: Location, cleanliness, and service.
Cons: The little extras that would truly make it a Four Star hotel. Glasses instead of plastic cups, nightstands on both sides of the bed, a clock, etc.

I am happy to read that you enjoyed our location in the city centre and that you mention the cleanliness and service. You also mention that you expected more from a four star hotel. I am sorry that we did not meet your expectations. For your next visit I would recommend you to upgrade your stay to one of our newly renovated Superior or Executive rooms. These rooms are bigger, have coffee and tea facilities with coffee cups and offer luxurious bath supplies. We offer these rooms for a small surcharge of € 10,- and € 20,- euros. Unfortunately I cannot change your experiences, but I hope my response shows that I take your comments very seriously. With kind regards,
