This hotel was just OK. Some strange things...for example, the bathroom had a shower and toilet, but no sink. The sink was right beside the bed. The hotel room was extremely noisy from next door and also outside. But the beds were EXTREMELY comfortable...so with a set of ear plugs in, I slept like baby.

We stayed here for a week for a conference/ holiday. The rooms were small but comfortable, the bathrooms large with the toilet in a separate room- nice touch. It was only one block from both Casa Batllo and La Padrera and walking distance to Sagrada Familia, several Gaudi attractions. There is a nice roof top patio but the food and drinks here are very expensive.

This hotel was a nice surprise at the end of a Mediterranean cruise. We stayed in a good size room with a city view. I thought that noise might be an issue, but the windows did an excellent job of keeping it quiet. A breakfast buffet with numerous choices was included in the room rate. The Las Ramblas tourist area was a few minutes away, but the hotel was also just a few minutes from higher end name brand stores. Numerous outdoor cafes were available within the surrounding blocks. Since we had never been to Barcelona, we took advantage of a hop-on/off bus, and a stop was only a block away. We considered this an ideal hotel choice for Barcelona.

The hotel is small but the rooms were very comfy and the staff were really helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The hotel is at the top end of the town but a pleasant walk into the centre. For us it was not too far out but for others it may prove a fair walk.

The Eixample suburb was created 1860–1920 and consequently holds the city’s finest Modernist buildings. The Passeig de Gràcia is the main artery, its wide pavements lined with designer shops and chic cafes. It is also home to Gaudí’s two fairy-tale masterpieces, Casa Batlló and La Pedrera, plus many other architectural gems. The undoubted star of the Eixample is La Sagrada Familia, Gaudí’s fabulous unfinished emblematic church.
