Simple and convenient

Really decent hostel in terms of budget and location. Nothing fancy, but the dorms and rooms are clean and provide the basics sufficiently. Breakfast is not much (coffee, toast), but typical in Argentina. Free wifi throughout is welcome. Front desk always helpful anytime and can provide travel bookings or advice.

Great Location in El Calafate

Stayed in a dorm which I'll probably never do again...place seemed clean and the location is good while staying in El Calafate. Got charged for the meagre continental breakfast, which I thought was included in the price.

Fair to midland

Stayed in a private room at what is most certainly a hostel. Good wi-fi signal. Large room. Plenty of hot water. Bed was fine. This was neither luxurious nor roughing it. At approximately $50/night, I think you can do better in the area. Slightly off the beaten track, so provided for a nice walk to get places.

Highlight of this hostel is staff at reception

Posted Mar 20, 2013
Pros: Laura at the front desk.
Cons: Small, poorly designed rooms. Poor sound proofing.
Location: A 10 -15 minute walk from center of town, bus station.
Front desk staff made the different at this hostel. Laura was great! She gave us a little orientation when we arrived and booked us a great "Alternate tour of the glacier". Got our laundry done. Remembered are room number and even remembered us when we returned a week later for another night. Staff fixed a heating issue in our room when asked. Private rooms with bathroom seem pricey but not for this location in peak season. Rooms are small and poorly designed. This is a busy hostel during our stays in February.
