Pictures don’t quite make justice to the place. Good size room and so was the bathroom, bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful, they even helped us book some tours to the glaciar park and other activities. Location was great, walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops in town. Breakfast was okay and they don’t have a/c (which is not needed if your visit is during the cool temperature months)

Overall it was good, the only thing was the twin bed request that hadn't been taken into account but was fixed in the hour. And we had to wait for an extra day for the laundry, hopefully we had some spare clean clothes.

Very nice, helpful staff, clean, great area close to downtown. Laundry service convenient and reasonably priced. As of January 2024 some construction going on during the day.

No es Hotel.
Lindo lugar. Pero no tiene, calefacción, las camas son duras como hostel, no tiene ningún tipo de servicio de comidas excepto desayuno continental. El staff muy bueno a pesar que nuevo pero no compensa para hacerlo hotel. Sin bar ni room service ni ayuda botones no competa para llegar a hotel.

Great place to stay to visit the Glaciars
Hotel is well - located. Breakfast is Excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. They will exchange currency at Front Desk. El Calafante is mostly a Base for your daily excursions. This lodging is well-suited and more than adequate for this purpose. Upscale lodgings are available in this City - but are unnecessary- unless you've "got to have it"

We truly enjoyed our stay in El Calafate. The rooms at Glaciar are simple, but clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. The town is very walkable from this hotel.

Great location and staff
Fantastic location, really central for town and pickups which you can't fault, relaxed vibe and really helpful reception staff. The breakfast was okay but had an early start which was handy. Our room was showing signs of wear and tear but were made up daily. You could hear a lot of noise from the walkways which started early given folk were off and away on excursions - take earplugs.

Pleasant hotel in great location. A lot of small things missing. Minimal space for storage and no hooks for hanging towels, etc. A few more $$ towards what you'd normally find in a hotel would make this place excellent.

One off the main reason to choose this hotel was the payment will do in the hotel. Despite this condition the hotel charge mi credit card in US$ before arrival and did not permit me to pay in the hotel either at arrival check in or leaving. This is important because exist with argentina a serius matter regards the exhchange rate between ARS$ and US$. (currency arbitrage) And the pay in US$ is almost the double. The owner of hotel did not made anything to correct this situation This is a not completion of its obligations as what as agreed.

La atención en recepción es excelente. El desayuno es rico y la vianda también por si tienes alguna excursión. La habitación es cómoda y tranquilo el lugar. Caminando como 8min comenzará la avenida principal y queda todo relativamente cerca.

Aprovecho para destacar que incluso se les dió un trato personalizado con excepciones para mejorar aun más su estadía. Aun así no se nos permitió trabajar sobre los aspectos que consideran negativos ya que no nos dieron detalles en el momento oportuno para tratar de solucionarlo, por lo contrario recibimos una cantidad de mensajes demandantes e impropios.

We loved staying at this hotel. So many kind and friendly people which made our first trip to Argentina a success. Rooms were very clean. Location was perfect since it was right on the main street. They also had a great restaurant inside the hotel and everyone was very nice and welcoming there. Thank you! :)

Carlos was really great; very funny & helpful even w/ the safe; Senor Durante was very Argentinian, warm, loving, staff were great, cooked fresh scramble egg. The price was right the amenities available.

bad wifi, not very helpfull staff
- the staff at the reception refused to give any information about buses, basically only because they sell their own trips... - wi-fi practically non existing. It 'works' only in the lobby area and disconnects every couple of minutes. - good music in the hall - pretty spacious and clean private rooms

Would highly recommend
We enjoyed our stay here. It was clean and comfortable. We loved the open spaces and there plenty of places to relax. The only negative thing we found was the wifi, it wasn’t password protected so each time you wanted to use it you had to reconnect and accept the terms and conditions. It would log out each time you locked your phone. But this was only a small inconvenience, it was a fabulous hostel otherwise.

Centrally located hostel with good tours
Short 3 night stay in Calafate was overall pleasant. The hotel was right across the bridge from the Main Street. Rooms were basic and clean, WiFi was very slow, reception was very helpful with tours! Overall recommended!

Great hostel, would stay again
We really enjoyed our stay at Hostel and Suites del Glaciar Libertador. Our rooms were clean and tidy as was the rest of the hostel. The breakfast was great, kitchen was fairly clean and there was plenty of space to relax in. The only thing we found frustrating was the wifi. There is no passcode but each time you wanted to access it you had to reconnect to it. So if we were using our phones and locked them they would no longer have wifi connected and we’d have to unlock them and follow the sign in process again manually.
