Sobre evaluado por precio. Hotel 2 estrellas diria yo. Limpio y en buen estado pero nada lujoso, basico. Desayuno basico, solo harinas basicamente, alimentos no disponibles a menos que se soliciten con tiempo para poder tenerlos en la cena, de lo contrario no hay comida. Check out a las 10 am, cuando los hoteles tienen un check out a las 12. Asi que cobran 1 noche que no es ni 24 hrs.

Friendly receptionist, 8 minutes walk to main town
Facilities a bit old and run down, but still liveable. Breakfast was a little too sweet, mostly cakes and sweet breads. Receptionist is friendly and helpful, helped us with the booking of taxi to El Calafate Airport. There is a shortcut to the main town, which is pretty convenient, about a 8 minute walk down to the town but a bit challenging to walk at night.... roads in el calafate are pretty muddy.

Quiet hotel
Outside of town but the hotel is clean, and room has the amenities that you need. Quiet area away from town.

Can't handle that air freshener.
Check-in was a cold experience, the room reeked of air freshener so we immediately opened the window despite the cold weather to try to air it out a bit, carpet was gross and bed was hard, can't comment on the shower because we woke up to a power outage that seemed to be limited to just this building and it didn't feel worth it to shower with a headlamp on. To their credit they still served breakfast by flashlight/candle, it was standard fare. Wouldn't stay here again - there are better institutions and locations near restaurants/shops for comparable prices.

It's a great place specially for the $. The stuff was friendly the only thing is WiFi is not that good if you are on a working vacation.

Nice room and service
The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate and similar to others we experienced travelling through Argentina (heavy on carbs/pastries and cafe con leche). The street the hotel sits on is one where construction has stalled on several projects. Luckily it is a quick walk to all the restaurants and shops.

Disappointing front staff
Clean room, very modern, all amenities. Good buffet breakfast. However disappointing front staff. At check-in the front staff did not explain properly how the lights worked in the room and at check-out front staff did not book taxi when asked to the night before. He reassured me that he would book the taxi service the night before but he did not and I had to organize another taxi last minute and was late for flight. Not good

Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. It was a short walk to the center which made the hotel location convenient. My only concern was that the walls were paper thin, so it made the hotel a bit noisy.

It's 5 minutes from downtown . Staff is very helpful . It's great value for money you pay . Room was pretty big, hot shower etc

Had only one night, but really enjoyed it. Big rooms, clean, hot water, good breakfast and good wifi. Can't complain about anything and would stay there again.

The room we got is a bit dim because of faulty bulbs, which looks like has been this for ages. Hotel refuse to change the room or replace the bulbs. Continental breakfast with no fruits. Used to be part of Best Western hotel chain, Eco Vista. A bit far out (15 - 25 mins walk) from the city center. If you arrive from the bus terminal, quite unlikely you will find this place by walking as it is on a hill and you need to climb some flights of stairs.

Not worth it.
Faulty lights not replaced. Room looks dark. Breakfast is the same everyday. No hot foods or fruits for breakfast. Bed is alright but no housekeeping unless you requested for it. Hotel a bit far out from the town center, about 15 - 20 mins walk down the steel staircase.

Clean, good value, well-located
Great location, good value, just a bit noisy from the hallways and adjoining rooms. Front desk not incredibly helpful (no one to help negotiate tours, give advice etc), but everything was clean and the quiet location with just a five minute walk to the center of town was perfect.

Almost everything was OK, but nothing special. And one bad experience. We had a morning bus from El Calafate before the breakfast, so we asked them, if they can prepare them for us earlier. Despite the fact that they told us that the breakfast will be ready, they were not. In the morning there was just one guy who does not spoke English. He was preparing the breakfast for the regular time, so we had only that what he can prepare before we leave...and he was not interested in our earlier leaving.

Strange place, but was actually comfortable
If you want value for money and location book a hostel, this place was on the edge of an unfinished and desolate looking industrial park, about 1km from town. We arrived after a long day, to find that our rooms were not ready (6pm), as the young man on reception struggled to find our reservation, but I suspect it was more of an attitude problem, shame as I thought that we only had this problem back home... OK, the room was clean and comfortable but strangely enough the television was missing from the trail of wires that once serviced it. Our rooms were on the ground floor, and with the general reception area din in the evening and first thing in the morning meant that if you need more than 7 hours of quiet per night then forget it, as the noise is considerable. Breakfast was actually OK

Good hotel to stay in, at first confusing to receive our expedia booking, but beware of confusing this hotel MP Suites from the Marco Polo "Inn" which is a hostel a couple of blocks away with zero english speaking personnel. Definitely a good option in Calafate.

After being nearly charged high season rates over twice the price of hotels.com, we booked in the hotel and from having no vacancies got a 4 bed room instead of a double. Facilities are basic more a feel of a hostel. 5 minute walk from centre of El calafate down the metal steps of the hill. Staff were friendly but not very well prepared. Breakfast was OK.

the problem with this hotel is finding it. be sure you know whether you are going to marcopolosuites or marcopolo hosteria and get a detailed map as the streets are not marked. the suites in particular are easy to access either by car or from town--they are right on an enormous highway that's an old airstrip. but there's no way of knowing this a priori or at least it wasn't indicated to me on my expedia reservation. the staff are courteous, helpful, willing to communicate in english and patient with my atrocious spanish. and about el calafate in general--it was so windy when we were here that we needed windbreakers and had to dress for much cooler temperatures than the thermometers claimed. the wind is less extreme in the town than at the hostels which are on high ground on the way into town.

Hotel bem localizado, um local ideal para se locomover, pela cidade, longe de barulhos. Café é um pouco estranho ao se cobrar um simples ovos mexidos. No check-in o atendimento é bem ríspido com relação ao horário, voce precisa sai no horário estabelecido em contrato, isso é um problema serio para que esta em viagens longas com crianças. Sao políticas do estacionamento que precisa ser revistas.

Boa hospedagem, vale o custo/beneficio
Fomos muito bem atendidos, o recepcionistada tarde/noite muito simpático e prestativo. O cafe da manhã bom, faltou um ovo ou uma proteina. Para chegar no centro tem uma escadaria de uns 100 degraus, porém nada desanimador. Não permitem comida dentro do hotel somente do restaurante. Mauro
