“Fantastic place to stay”

We had a marvellous time at El Calafate and particularly at the Patagonia Park Plaza. The hotel is magnificent and the staff is the best I have met in a long, long time. Just 10 minutes walk to the city centre but safe and enjoyable. I highly recommend it if you are planning a visit. By theway, thank you all at Patagonia Plaza for making our trip so enjoyable!

very nice, not a place to see backpackers like us in. was our treat for the trip and it was. 3 great nights. the glaciers, the wine store just down from the bus station made this a place to want to go back to. make sure you eat a calafate berry :)

The service from the momenet we enetered the hotel , very attentive and helpful re garding tours etc. Very comfortable and extensive breakfast i would stay there again

“A very good hotel”

People is very friendly and took care about everything that we asked. The hotel has a beautiful view, is a little bit far to the town, but it is a walking distance and cups fare is very low.

“Good swimming pool and restaurant”

Nice hotel with a heated swimming pool. We enjoyed it everyday when we were there. Its restaurant is better than some of the restaurants in the city's main street. The price is reasonable as well. The only downside is its location, a little bit far away from the main street. We needed to walk half an hour.

“Inspiring Scenery !!”

Yes, I can truly say that this hotel has a marvelous view of the city of El Calafate and Lake Argentina. Surrounded by amazing lanscapes of mountains and ice capped mountains. The best part is having breakfast and enjoying this view and getting inspired by nature.

“Overall I'd recommend for the price.”

The hotel staff wasn't friendly at all, which it was a big surprise specially in a small town like El Calafate. The room got really warm and stuffy in the middle of the night, which was ok for me since I like to be really warm, but my husband and the kids didn't like it at all. The first day the room was spotless, by the third night no more soaps and shampoo were being replenished (1 soap and 1 shampoo pouch a day for 4 people in a room, luckily I brought my own). The towels, even tough I left hanged to dry, I'd come back and would have only 1 or 2 fresh towels, again, we were 2 adults and 2 kids in the room. Breakfast was really good and the hotel location only 10 min walk to downtown. Do not buy tour packages at the hotel, you can find cheaper at downtown.
