Run by a very warm and welcoming family. Beautiful views of Fitz Roy. Incredible Argentine history in the back yard.

Magical place and StaffPosted Jan 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
From the owners to the wait staff, the people at la Quinta were amazing. Oh, and the property will leave you speechless.

not worth the moneyPosted Dec 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
For the cost what they are asking we expected much more, but it was a simple, little run down hotel with no added value to justify the high price.

Excellent staff, food, beautiful grounds. A few km outside town which we loved as it made it very quiet and sheltered from the wind beside the mountain.

Great hotel for couplesPosted Jan 23, 2013
The lodge is part of a working "estancia" (a cattle ranch) It is located 2 Km (about 1.4 miles) before El Chalten and it is lovely. It is very quiet, with an incredible night sky, livestock, horses, birds and nice walks. The lamb with calafate sauce at their restaurant is excellent. Also recommend dinner at La Tapera in town.

Hotel with a bit of ranch experience.Posted Jan 18, 2013
Pros: Location, location, location, and the view.
Cons: Mid night blackout.
Location: Ranch, 3 minutes drive from the town.
It is located in a ranch, 3 minutes drive from the El Chalten town. Beautiful setting, gorgeous view and well kept building. Dogs, cows, horses and chicken. Food at the restaurant is good but limited variety. Breakfast is not exciting. Jacuzzi in each room. Midnight blackout to conserve energy was annoying.

Beautiful location, friendly and helpful staffPosted Jan 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, but the best part was the location. Beautiful estancia just outside of El Chalten (about 1 km). Nicest place I've stayed.

Great escapePosted Jan 21, 2012
Pros: The help at the front desk
Location: Just outside town, but it is easy enough to get to and from town.
Just outside town, La Quinta is a nice place to escape. It is very peaceful and comfortable. Alfredo, the owner, is amazing!! He helped us plan our whole stay in El Chalten and we had a great time. I recommend this hotel for couples and families.
