Cheap hotel near Airport.

A bunch of people were drinking beer and shouting and laughing outside their room and the hotel staff did not tell them anything.

Good location, bad internet, no breakfast

Posted Aug 11, 2013
I called to make sure I was staying at a place that had free breakfast, so save on travel costs. I was told that they did have that, only to find out that they only served coffee. The internet connection was bad, making the planning of my travels difficult. About half of the outlets didn't work, so we had to sacrafice the lights in order to get online and charge our phones. Room was pretty clean and the air worked well.

Left my car unlocked for a couple hours in late afternoon and nothing. Safer that what it appears. Rooms are not old dirty looking. Very pleased with price.

a great deal - and a step p from most Motel 6s

Posted Aug 25, 2010
We used to stay at this motel when it was an Econolodge. Nothing has changed except the name and staff, as far as I can tell. It's a great deal. Extremely efficient check-in. The rooms are very clean, each has a refrigerator, microwave, and blow dryer, table & chairs, tv. The rooms are comfortable, extremely clean, spacious. Clearly it's not a resort motel, and is often very full, but we use it most frequently when returning late on a flight into El Paso Airport, or having to leave early on a flight from same, since we live 3.5 hours away and this is near the airport. Also, the pool is really nice. It's on a busy street, Montana BLVD, but we've never been bothered by the traffic noise when in the rooms. For us, this location actually works out well since we end up doing big shopping trip at nearby Costco and Target and J R's produce before heading back to our more rural home area. The only thing missing: coffeemakers in the room. For proximity to airport, great value, and cleanliness, this motel is the best.

Not impressed

Posted Sep 10, 2008
When looking at the pictures online I didn't realize that it was only a 2 story building with no elevator. I was 7 1/2 months pregnant and also had my 16 month old son with me when I visited...it was not easy to carry him and myself up and down those stairs many times a day! Also, they have smoking and non-smoking rooms. I had requested a non-smoking room but yet my suitcase and clothes stunk of smoke from sitting in the room.
