Perfect for couples or families
It was the second time we chose Calypso for our holidays and we were so happy we did. This time we had a one year old child and everyone was very accommodating and helpful. The room was spacious and the kitchen well equipped to prep meals for the little one. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Family run business which was very hospitable. Spacious and clean rooms, parking available and walking distance to restaurants. Would recommend staying there.

Great Location in downtown Elafonisos
The Calypso have been recently refurbished with taste and simplicity. Everything is accessible by foot if you want to stay in Elafonisos or by car with an easy access to the Main Road if you want to visit the wonderful beaches the island has to offer. Greatly recommended and affordable place to stay, for a weekend or a week, as a couple.

Nice small hotel, friendly owners
Nice family-run small hotel. We stayed in the large apartment at the top of the property. Aircon very effective and available in every room. Beautiful large balcony, but full of aircon exhaust units from the other rooms below. Bathroom was decent and clean. The only negative point was the mattress on the bed...very hard and small, hard to sleep well.

Terrific rooftop apartment!
Fantastic accommodation! As a family of four we stayed in the rooftop apartment which had two bedrooms, a beautiful bathroom, a kitchen, and HUGE rooftop patio. The staff was friendly and the room was very clean. Gorgeous island.

I loved my stay at calypso. Just the two of us stayed in the top floor apartment. It was huge! The balcony was gorgeous. The property was very clean, welcoming and well decorated. The staff was very friendly. The location of the property was great. Off the main strip, but a close walk. There was parking, and it was a close drive to the beach. We are picky customers and would definitely stay at this property again if we are visiting elafonisos.

Elafonisos Gem
Great place to stay. We had the top floor which is spans the entire building and has a huge balcony. Our friends stayed in one of the twin rooms which was equally fab. The hotel is extremely clean and in a quite back street of the town. I would definitely stay there again next time in Elafonisos.

We had a great time at Calypso. The staff were very friendly and professional. They were happy to help us with anuthing we need. The room was great with modern design and new furniture and bathroom. The location was also great as we could walk to all the restaurants and cafes. The hotel was pretty quiet so you could relax. We will definitely go back to Calypso whenever I visit Elafonisos. I highly recommend it! We had a great time! Thank you!

Great place to stay on the island
Conveniently located about 1/2 km from the ferry in Elafonisos town, with sufficient parking space. The waterfront and all the restaurants and shops are within a short walking distance, Simos beach is a 10-min drive away. We stayed for two nights in the large top-floor apartment with a lovely huge terrace facing NW (views from SW to NE across the sea). The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean & well furnished, the WiFi connection was good. The kitchen was spacious, equipped with a scattered assortment of dishes and utensils - though surprisingly lacking a kettle for boiling water or a coffee maker. There were just a few similar minor nuisances (dripping air conditioning unit, broken bathroom lock, smell from ventilation outlets on terrace), in addition to the salty tap water that seems to be a general problem on the island. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

We are a family of five and rented the top floor apartment and it was perfect for us! It was super clean and very well kept, had our own huge veranda, and was a very short walk to the town through cute narrow little streets. The owners were very kind too. We highly recommend and enjoyed our stay.

Overall good value, clean and spacious rooms, walking distance to the main strip, Air condtioning and wifi good, breakfast involves a coffee from a thermos and some cookies so you likely will need to grab something else from one of the cafes/ restaurants nearby

The building is beside a mobile phone hudge antenna. No protection net for the mosquitos and flies. A 20” TV set with a dirty remote controller. Νο batteries in the a/c remote controller. No welcoming at all.

Nice place but slippery front steps
We loved our stay here, it's clean and in a good location but be careful of the slippery marble front steps. It rained and they may as well be coated in bacon grease. My family spent the next day in various hospitals getting treatment for my injuries. It's the reason I rated the hotel condition poorly. They need to do something about the steps.

Nice quiet, relaxing break end of september
Short break to see Elafonisos for the first time, realy enjoyed it, very quiet and peaceful time of year (end of september) nice that the lady owner gave us coffee and biscuits or cake for breakfast as an extra bonus

Good room prices and good location. Staff was OK. Rooms could do with some renovation but overall good experience. Cell phone base station right next to the hotel.
