“Clean cheap hotel”

Hotel is very clean and management is helpful, friendly and VERY patient.

The pool was not open yet and it was mid June. the weather was 84 degree's. With 2 kids wanting to swim, made for a long evening. other than the pool, we enjoyed our stay.

“Kentucky Derby”

The hotel is really run down, but the new owners/managers are really working hard to get it up to par. They were really nice and very promptly fixed the stool and assisted with the internet.

“Wouldn't Go Back”

The family booked this place site unseen as a stopover on our way to Lexington. We just wanted a quiet, clean place with a pool for the kids for one afternoon and night. This hotel needed some real attention on the outside. It didn't look like they had mowed the grass/weeds in a couple of months. This also made the pool area undesirable. The room, lobby, service and breakfast were acceptable but the outside of the hotel was a disaster. I would avoid staying in Bardstown all together on my next trip.

“The hotel time forgot”

This hotel needs a MAJOR overhaul. We asked for a nonsmoking room, but the room had an awful smell (not sure if it was smoke or not).
