“Has Potential, but....”

When we got to the hotel, we had been assigned a second floor room and there are no elevators. My knees cannot handle stairs so we asked for a first floor. We were unable to get a king bed, which was okay except that we noticed numerable unused rooms in the hotel. Our bathtub had large chips in it. The room was definitely not of 3 star quality. Also, they advertised a bar/lounge, but it actually only had beer. The atrium section was in need of upgrades, and it appeared that they were underway. The pool was good, but when we went to use the showers to avoid our bathtub, there were bugs in them. Finally, the person on duty failed to get a credit card for our incidentals, and we were e-mailed to pay for them. We had to give a credit number over the phone. This place could be wonderful if it was fixed up, but it is far from there.

Area recommendations
My husband and I were traveling with 2 cars and our cats for our move from AZ to AL. We do not know anything more about the area except that this was the highest rated hotel that took pets and broke up our trip at the right point. Then area was really not important to us.
