Clean, spacious room

Pros: Loved swimming in the pool.
Location: Route 66
Easy access off the I 40 but that meant we heard the trucks during the night.

Nightmare from HELL

Pros: NOTHING!
Cons: ALL OF THE ABOVE AS WELL AS THE ATTITUDES OF THOSE WORKING AT THE FRONT DESK
Location: DID NOT VENTURE OUT. JUST A STOPOVER AFTER A VERY LONG DAY!
Room was not properly cleaned, a very pungent odour when door was opened, no signs to warn people that the water was scalding hot, hairdryer did not work, Hotel restaurant was below standards

Everything great except door weatherstripping

Posted Jan 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
The personnel and their service levels were great. We couldn't have asked for better. Also, we forgot a Kindle in the room and called when we got home. They had found it during cleaning, and cheerfully shipped it to us via Priority Mail. We paid for shipping only. The only possible improvement we can think of would be to fix the leaky weatherstripping on the room door, which leaked a lot during the very cold weather and decreased the room comfort.

NO!

Posted Jan 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
This is a definite NO for any/everyone going this way! I was totally shocked at the condition of this place. The hotel personnel were very nice. I actually felt sorry for them that they have to work in such a horrid place. The place was a pit, plain and simply put. You could see the outside from under the door, walls were crumbly, baseboards were peeling away from the wall, carpet was stained with dirt. Honestly, it was ghastly. We didn't even stay after I looked at the room. I want to feel safe and comfortable and this place along with the sad neighborhood didn't make me feel at all confident in that way. I was really disappointed because I thought that with Days Inn being a national chain, it would be a good place to stay. I learned something, though, from this experience and that is from now on to check out the room before paying anything! Do not book with this hotel!

This was an older hotel and the furniture was old too. We had a corner room and it was huge. It had a table and chairs which we moved out of the way to workout. Nothing to rave about but nothing to complain about. It was a quiet room and we had a good night sleep.

Desapointed!

Posted Dec 25, 2013
Simply the worst hotel we stayed in! After driving all day, get to the hotel after 10pm and still have to send a job via email, when I take a shower, the shower worked not just me and my family stayed without showering, and what horrible! Even the floor was not clean and the bedroom door is not closed. I called the front desk and the attendant would have certified me a discount, but as I had already paid via internet, they informed me when checking out, you would have to contact Expedia. I want my money back, sorry but that are hosting the troublesome brought.

Pros: Beds comfortable and room clean. Price reasonable.
Cons: Restaurant staff, front desk staff would benefit from training.
Staff at main desk and restaurant could use training.

The Day's Inn in Clinton was very comfortable, clean and very close to the Interstate 40, while I was very satisfied with the room and hotel I will never book through Hotels.com again, the type of room I had reserved and paid for was not available, fortunately the Clerk at the Hotel was able to get me half of what I had reserved, I truly would recommend this hotel.
