Not a typical Hampton experience

Posted Oct 12, 2013
Pros: The girl who served the breakfast was a sweetheart. The girl who checked me in gave me a north rm. so I wouldn't have I-40 right outside my window.
Cons: See experience above.
I have stayed in Hampton Inns in many cities. This one needs some work. I stayed in 201. There was no hot water from the sink and very low water pressure. I told the front desk as I left for the day, but that night there still was no hot water. I had to turn off the cold water supply under the sink to get a very low flow of hot water. I told the front desk the next day at ckeckout. I showed her the pictures I took of the falling down drapes, the comforter that was basically a scattering of lumps and the dust ruffle that looked like somebody had wadded it in a ball and slept on it. There was also a brown stain on one of my pillows. I left it stain up on my bed and it was changed. The manager discounted my bill by half. Their housekeepers need training, they need to buy decent bedding/sheets and they have plumbing problems. Four standard mushy feather pillows are not appropriate for a king bed and the comforter should be thrown away. Other than that it was great.

Pros: The bed & pillows, the cleaniness, great breakfast, and the to go snack sacks.
Cons: Can't think of 1 thing
Only stayed 1 night but couldn't have picked a more perfect place. Everything was excellent.

Hampton Inn, Clinton, OK, is excellent.

Staff is welcoming and gracious. Indoor pool is clean and air in the pool room is breathable and adequately ventilated. Breakfast was very good with fresh batter for waffles. (Scrambled eggs were a little dry and crumbly.) Handicap room is excellent. I have a balance problem and I felt secure in the shower. The steak house across the parking lot was a very good restaurant and an easy and convenient walk. Easy on and off I-40 both directions. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you, from Kelly and granddaughter Mariah

Best Motel in Clinton. I have stayed at them all and this one is by far the best.

Excellent Hotel. Very clean and nice. Room was exceptional. Right across the parking lot from the best steak house in the area. This will be a regular stop for me from now on.

Nice hotel, great steakhouse a stone throw away

Posted Nov 11, 2009
I stayed overnight on business at this new hotel. The room was extremely nice, the condition of the hotel was outstanding, the staff was super friendly, the breakfast was good, and a great steakhouse is in the adjoining parking lot to the north. Would highly recommend this hotel. It is a little difficult to find where to turn to get into the hotel itself, but soon found the sign pointing the way.

Friendly, clean, and quiet

The staff was friendly, helpful, and really made you feel welcome. The hotel was clean, beds were great. The nearby restaurant made it easy to get a good meal. This trip was just an overnight stop but it was a warm and welcome feeling as always at a Hampton.
