“Very Inviting”
Not a hotel, but a bed and breakfast. It was a very "homey" cozy place. We slept great on a queen bed, and have a king bed at home- we still slept well. It being fall in Michigan made it even more inviting. We slept with the window open and that added to the cozy feel as well. Helen was a great cook and we enjoyed hearing her stories. It is out of the way from interstate travel, but an obvious must for those who want to get away from the busy city-life.
“Great B&B”
A great place to stay; very clean and a wonderful atmosphere. We (mom, dad and a child) spent the night while en-route to MI Upper Penn. This is how a B&B should be - clean, comfortable, great location, and a superb attitude by the owner. Great breakfast
“Nice visit to "a friend's countryside house"”
Pleasant B&B with great service, good breakfast, a pleasant patio and common rooms. A bit far from anywhere, but that's probably what you're looking for if you're considering this place. The small town nearby does have a few good restaurants and a great lakeside park. Good spot for relaxation or (as we did) a one-night stop on a tour of Michigan's north.
