“Great place to stay in Elko NV”

Nice and clean with a very friendly atmosphere. We were travelling with our dog and they gave him a dog biscuit.

When this hotel was affiliated with another chain, we had to settle with small annoyances (such as thin towels) but now it's on par with more expensive inns. Everything is up-to-date in Elko!!

“What a pleasant surprise !!!!”

We were not expecting much after our last experience in Kalispel, MT. Were we surprised at what we walked into in The Gold Country Hotel and Casino in Elko, NV. Everything was great, the room was spacious, The bed was very comfortable, the shower has a massager spray that really helped my neck and back after a long ride. Next time we head east we will stay here for our first night and not in smokey Boomtown hotel room.....

“Great hotel for a family.”

Very good experience. We had several family members in several different rooms and the hotel accommodated us by putting us near one another. The refrigerator and microwave was very handy.

very nicely decorated rooms! Very clean and comfortable. very nice staff and JRs reataurant is fabulous! I would stay there again without ant question! Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Only negatives were minor spots on carpet; message light blinking when we arrived and not turned off; and smokey lobby

Everyone we dealt with, from the front desk to the restaurant staff, to the manager that had to mail home a forgotten item was so helpful. Not just fake friendly customer service but really truly friendly. Our kids had fun in the pool and they really are pet friendly.

“Pleasantly surprised”

We stayed here for only one quick night and found it to be nicer than expected. The room was spacious and well appointed and the value was super. Would have rated it with all "5s" except for the ankle deep water ponding in the shower tub and the heavy smell of smoke at the check-in desk.

“All you could ask for the night”

This hotel was very quiet for being so large. There was no noise from either the casino or street. The room was very clean and well maintained and comfortable. For one night, it was a pleasant surprise.
