“Just an average motel”

Bottom sheets of both beds were not tucked under the mattress this caused the sheets to lump up as tou tossed and turned while sleeping. I informed the front desk of this issue.

“A Good Place to Stay.”

They accomodated us for early check in. The King Bed option has a lot of room. The micro wave ovem, refrigerator, and coffe machine all operated fine. There's was no plates and such in the room; however, we ate at both resturants adjacent to the hotel and enjoyed the meals.

“Old school comfort”

I was surprised when the clerk handed me a real metal key rather than a plastic key card. The room was large. The bed and pillows were some of the most comfortable I've ever slept on in a hotel - particularly great as the only ones I've ever slept in better were considerably more expensive with more stars. The room was clean, with the exception of a Pepsi can under the bed. Breakfast was advertised as free, which it was - but the arrangement was interesting. At check in the clerk gave me meal coupons good at two nearby restaurants for a free 'Shilo' breakfast. You could order the three options from the Shilo menu or get $4 off of something on their regular menu. We went with the Shilo menu and were stuffed. It was delicious. My only complaint is that going to a restaurant, ordering, and waiting for the meal took longer than grabbing something quickly in the lobby and eating quickly as we are usually in a hurry to go were we need to go. Overall, I'd go again.

“Old School”

We were looking for an inexpensive hotel for a one night stay while traveling cross country. This is an older hotel and served it's purpose what we needed. I was disappointed with the smell of our room. We requested a nonsmoking room, but I believe at one point in time our room was once a smoking room that was converted to a nonsmoking room. I was happy the hotel offered a small fridge and microwave. We did not use the pool and we did not use the voucher for the free breakfast at the nearby restaurant. I would recommend this hotel but would also say not to have high expectations.

“Not as good as it used to be”

Toilet wouldn't flush, wifi down 4 out of 5 days, treadmill permanently out of order. This used to be a nice place to stay. In the last 2 years it has really suffered.

“Nick Sefakis”

It seems like this hotel needs an upgrade. The entrance door is old and it uses a key rather than a card. I couldn't get the TV to work properly so I gave it up. It is in a good location, just off the freeway, but it needs improvement.

“Great Place to Stay”

The Hotel staff were fantastic people, great location to everything a traveler needs. The Coffee Mug restaurant next door has an excellent breakfast menu and with your hotel discount makes for inexpensive dining.

“Great service”

A luggage name tag had torn off my suitcase and was found in the hotel parking lot. The Hotel manager mailed it back to me at my home. I believe that says a lot about the service there.

“Poor customer service!”

This is the first time I have ever left a review on a hotel, but I don't think I have had worse customer service anywhere that I have stayed. To start off after I booked the room I called to check the status of the pool - open but heater broke, still swimable though.. was also told that I should call before I checked in as a 4:00pm check in time may not be accurate, they were full the night before, and they don't know when the rooms will be ready? While there the pool was not even room temp, not swimable! Clerks never answered the phone, had to walk down to get their attention all three of them. The TV did not work, kids channel was out and the Movies on Demand was also not working. They made me leave a deposit to try and get the movie working and when I went to pick it up the morning clerk snapped at me and told me she knew nothing of a deposit or where it might be! The Breakfast they offer is not at the hotel you have to go to a completely separate restaurant across the parking lot. Out of the 4 clerks I encountered only one was helpful and nice, the other three argueed with me and acted as if I was putting them out! I will not stay here again.
