Decent budget hotel

Posted Jul 14, 2014
The hotel is an older building with no amenities , although in fairness it was clean and slightly updated. Our king size room was small - think Motel 6 and while it included a fridge and microwave, a desk and an extra armchair it was squeezed into a very small space. The shampoo and conditioner were in a dispenser inside the bathtub/shower. There was no hand cream as part of the toiletries but strangest of all there was no in room coffee maker. Having said that, they did have coffee available in the lobby at 5 am. The included breakfast was all right - cold cereal, toast, hard boiled eggs and a waffle maker. Overall more 1 star than 2 star presentation. I probably wouldn't recommend the hotel as two star quality - but for our one night stay it sufficed.

Nice hotel for the price. Very quiet except for the air conditioner, which couldn't be helped. Staff friendly and good coffee and donuts in the morning.

We will never stay here again.

Pros: NOTHING!!
Cons: EVERYTHING!!
Location: Weren't there that long.
When we drove up, we noticed a number of vehicle-transporting large rigs. For the price we paid we didn't expect a truck stop motel. Our first room, which was supposed to be non-smoking, reeked of cigarette smoke and deodorizers. We requested another room. Both rooms had king-size beds, which were a tight fit given the room size. While second room smelled better, it (and the first room) was decorated in 1980's style. This included vinyl in the bathroom that was orange "tile" with brown grout. The shower enclosure and sink area were garish dark brown/tan/cream "marble" laminate. The carpet seemed newer, but the bed spread was worn, thin, and snagged and was also in the 80's mode in a print of oranges and tans. The blanket was old, worn, and too small for a king sized bed and was just laid across the bed, as it was not long enough to tuck in at the foot of the bed. The fitted bottom sheet had been put on the bed inside out. The mattress was hard and uncomfortable. We would have left, if we had been able to get a refund. The next morning, I was drying my hair and my husband was in the shower when a fuse blew, plunging the shower into total darkness. It was 5 minutes before that was fixed. Our stay was most unpleasant, especially since we had just stayed at another hotel for a similar cost--that included pool/spa, complimentary evening wine/beer, delicious breakfast, and luxurious room.

Decent hotel!

Three girlfriends & I went to a concert about an hour away from the hotel & stayed here one night. It did the job. Very clean & excellent staff. Free complimentary breakfast was missing proteins, but for the good deal of a price, I couldn't complain.

Great view

Posted Jun 14, 2014
The view here is amazing! Get a room in the back and get ready for the breath taking view in the evening. But nothing will prepare you for the view in the morning. The rooms were excellent for being a motel, but I can not stress the view enough!

Awful

Posted Jun 10, 2014
We had reserved a room with a king size bed but got one with a queen, the desk clerk switched us to a different room with a king! Walked into our room and it smelled like overwhelming cigarette smoke (non smoking room) and some other smell! I went and bought a bottle of febreeze, helped some! Finally asked the desk clerk if she had some kind of deodorizer and she have us an ozone machine to use and apologized because apparently a former resident that lived there was a heavy smoker! We ended up staying outside til we went to bed and had to keep getting up to switch the ozone machine on every hour! You couldn't pay me to stay there again!!!

Room was clean though small for King bed. Bed was comfortable. Quiet. Reasonable place to stay while en route to/from eastern Washington and beyond.

Hotel was nice enough, the location had different food places and was close for where we needed it. Everyone was friendly at the hotel, but the rooms let it down. Our beds was a double but seemed more like a single and very uncomfortable, light was really poor in the rooms and they were small rooms too.

Nice place, not fancy.

Posted May 31, 2014
Pros: Affordable, clean.
Location: Beautiful river and walking trail directly behind the hotel.
I stayed here both coming and going on a trip. I stayed the second time for it's affordability, convenience and decent service. It's nothing fancy, but it's clean, quiet, and there's a beautiful river to walk along right behind the hotel. I'd stay there again.
