The room was not very clean, and the breakfast sub-par. Cold coffee, limited choices.

Hotel close to freeway and restaurants

Posted Feb 27, 2015
Pros: Location good and staff was helpful.
Cons: Better shower bench for handicapped rooms and fresh fruit for breakfast.
Hotel provided room for handicapped person that had a nice large bathroom with ample space and doors that allowed good access. The shower bench provided was not deep enough to be stable when transferring from wheelchair to shower bench. Room was not very sound proof to outside truck traffic.

Good location to Central Washington University.

Posted Feb 18, 2015
Pros: The cleanliness, price and location
Cons: Maybe some boiled eggs for breakfast. Other than the fruit there were only high carb snacks.
Location: Location near the highway makes an easy access to other towns like Leavenworth or Yakima and downtown Ellensburg.
It is an easy access to the highway and to the college. It also is a nice quiet location even though it is close to busy gas stations and restaurants. The river behind the hotel is also nice to look at.

Works when all you need is a bed

Posted Jan 31, 2015
Pros: Quiet and nice view of the lake
Cons: Breakfast, but that might increase their room rates
Breakfast was pretty much bread and cold cereal, but there is a super coffee shop next door that is heavily trafficked by truck drivers. Skip the continental breakfast and go for a panini breakfast sandwich finished off with a latte.

Nice, quiet motel.

Posted Jan 27, 2015
It's quiet. Nice view on the back side. Staff was very accommodating. The pillows were a little small. I would come back. However, I heard they are getting new owners and will become a part Travelodge franchaise. And the backside with the view, will cost more than the rooms in the front.

Convenient and restful

Cedars Inn is handy to I-90 and five minutes from the University. Pleasant view of the lake next to it, quiet, comfortable. Decent "continental" breakfast included in price. Not a "destination" hotel, but a fine place to stay while en route.

Good Stop

Just what we needed. Easy access from the highway, extremely helpful staff, fun view of the river. This is not a fancy place, but it has everything we needed. Magnificent waffle maker!
