Very comfortable

Posted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: a mini fridge in the room would have been nice.
Location: Right off the freeway and just outside the main drag of town. There are museums, shopping, Wild horse wind farm.
We had a very nice experience during our stay at the Hampton Inn. We stayed 2 nights with them, so we definitly got a feel for the place. The staff was very friendly, our room was nice and clean and the breakfast had great variety. We have a son going to the college and are looking for a "go to" hotel in Ellensburg, I think we found it. It is a little ways from downtown but still close enough. We will be back!

Pros: Very comfortable beds. Clean.
Cons: Softer towels.
Location: CWU
Very nice hotel. Clean. Beds are comfortable. Don't park near the grass though, sprinklers leave spots on your car.

Filthy, rude staff, bad location

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Stayed here for 2 nights. The carpets are filthy all over the hotel. Found fingernail trimmings next to bed, dried blood on bed skirt, black, curly hair on bathroom floor, bedding smelled like a wet dog, window so dirty- could barely see outside. I asked the clerk at the front desk where I could get coffee & he replied, "I don't know. I don't drink coffee." Really?! In a small town like this, you have no idea where the coffee shop is? ( I found 2 Starbucks.) After our first night, my son & I left early, returning to the hotel @2pm; the room had not yet been cleaned, so I called the front desk. After 3 hours, I had to call again. The employees were incredibly rude, appeared lazy & were not available when needed. Also, I wasted a lot of gas driving back & forth 1 exit over to the main part of town. Stay at the Holiday Inn Express... Much better that this dump.

Ideal for a one night stay.

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: Value for money, overall.
Cons: See previous comments.
Location: Convenient for interstate and Ellensburg,
Bed linen was spotlessly clean. Hotel, in general, was probably a little tired, especially bathroom. Traffic noise from nearby interstate was rather intrusive.

Was just a place to crash for the night on my way to the Gorge! Good because they let me grab breakfast even after 10 AM.

Ellensburg Hampton

Posted Jun 21, 2014
Pros: Close to campus but yet far enough away to away from the crazy college grads.
Location: The location is highway close and just minutes away from downtown Ellensburg.
The staff and hotel were above all exceptations even through it was an extremely busy time with the CWU graduation and the hotel was very busy.

Posted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: The scrambled eggs at breakfast.
Location: About 5 minutes drive to historic downtown which stems from the late 18hundreds.dont miss the museum it's great and it's free.
No fridge in room, this is the only negative I found but heck, did I really need one?very friendly & helpfull staff.good size clean & comfortable room.nice hot & cold breakfast.restaurants within a few minutes walk just don't go to the IHOP next door, the chef didn't have a clue, stuffed up the food so badly one could have burst into tears.
