Not bad, just a place to stay instead of camping near the amphitheater. It met our needs. Staff were friendly.

We try to be more than just a step up from camping - I hope next time we can upgrade you in to one of our suites. We also book up fast when there is a concert at the Gorge Amphitheater - so be sure to book early! (and often :) )

On a Sunday in mid-July the restaurant was closed, the bar was closed, there was no tea or bottled water. Staff on the desk were pleasant but useless

Uh-Oh, I'm not sure you have the right hotel - we don't have a restaurant or bar. That being said - If it was one of our other Holiday Inn properties - I am sorry it was shut down.

Effortless

Room was clean and the process was painless. Since it was through Expedia I did not have to swipe a card. Only complaint is the shower head.

Good Restful Stay

Pros: Staff was #1.
Cons: All good.
We stayed as a stop to our final destination. We got in after midnight, and the hotel staff was so nice and polite. She made us feel right at home. She even provided us with change to use the laundry room. Room was spacious and comfy. The morning breakfast staff was also very pleasant. Food was well-stocked and clean. Overall, great stay.

Comfy, clean, one problem

Love these hotels, always great, clean and comfortable. This time, one problem, turned the heater on, it didn't come on right away, we went to dinner, came back and was watching tv. The heater came on and it had a smell and it made the fire alarm came on! We turned the heater off and opened the window and the fire alarm turned off. Called the front desk to tell them and they weren't aware of anything. They did not offer to move me rooms, which I was ok with because the room was warm enough and it was summer but they could have offered. They apologized but otherwise was not too concerned. The next day still no offer of a reduced rate or free room, this could have been a disaster if the heater had come on while we were out. Fluky thing, I still like this hotel and will come again, maybe test the heater first.

I remember speaking to staff about that instance when I heard about it. Hard to say exactly what the cause was, but when we looked, it looked like it was some outside debris/dust from that "famous" Ellensburg wind that may have cause the smoke detector to trigger. I'm sure it was quite a start to hear that alarm go off! I'm very sorry about that.

Best hotel in Ellensburg!

Pros: Location, clean and modern with a great breakfast. The pool is nice and the staff were all very helpfull.
Cons: Just a new mattress for the king size bed.
Location: Within walking distance you will find Starbucks, and some fast food. Also some sit down restaurants. We love downtown Ellensburg to shop and eat.
We had a great stay. Everything was clean and worked well. We enjoyed the quiet weekend away from our grown children. Our room was large and worth the money we paid for it.

Pleasant stay

Overall, this is a good place to stay. Nothing outstanding but nothing negative. We were pleased with the extra space in the room compared to most hotels.
