We're begging you not to stay there.

Pros: The staff was friendly enough, but they're overwhelmed by an outdated and weary facility without systems in place to maintain and clean it properly.
Cons: Appropriate high speed internet, a full range of cable stations, CLEANLINESS, smell removal, MAINTENANCE. Maybe tear down and rebuild.
Location: Location fine on main drag. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance or short drive. Nothing far away in Ellensburg.
Please book anywhere else that you can. The lobby is nice. Everywhere else in this hotel smells, starting as soon as you enter the halls from the lobby. Our first room smelled so bad we requested another. The new one didn't smell, but the carpet was sticky, there was no screen on the window, and our view was of another portion of the hotel with peeling paint. Less than 1/2 of the original paint was still there. The internet connection was bad. It was slow over-all and cycled off and on every 30 seconds to 4 minutes. The picture on internet TV would freeze during this phase. My work program would freeze and have to auto relog on after each episode. Their cable tv station selection did not include some basic channels. In my case, I use CNBC in my work, the generally accepted number 1 worldwide business channel. I planned to work in the room on a Friday while my wife was busy elsewhere. This channel was not part of their line-up. Fortunately, we had a second computer, so I was able to watch it online, with the aforementioned 30 second to 4 minute cycles of screen freezes. Our room did not have the promised microwave. The decor is late 60s to early 70s. There is deferred maintenance everywhere, even simple things like replacing burned out bulbs in the bath which had not been done. The Simon Frazier football team was in town for a game against Central. They stayed next door at the Holiday Inn Express. They're in town every 2 years. I guess they know where not to stay.

Nice except check in

Check in was extremely slow, with lots of people standing in line but the hotel was very clean and comfortable.

Old hotel needs major updating!

Posted Aug 13, 2013
Pros: The staff was nice.
Cons: Everything.
Location: Close to the interstate.
While our room was clean with nice bedding, the beds themselves were too small. The view out of our window was to a courtyard filled with garbage, old plumbing and broken furniture. The pool area was a mess! Most of the lights were old, dingy or inoperable. The floors were brown with mold with standing puddles of water. I would not recommend this hotel!

Not good.

Posted Aug 12, 2013
Pros: Location to Highway
Cons: Better beds. Air conditioners that work.
Location: Lots.
There are no elevators. Our air conditioner didn't work and it was 90 degrees. We were initially assigned and given keys to an occupied room. We couldn't get into our room. The keys we were given didn't work. The manager had to rekey a second set and go up with us to get us in. The room was just generally cheap and uncomfortable.
