I’ve stayed here in the past and it seems to have slipped a bit from what it was. The room was fine, comfy bed and pillows and it was quiet. I and my grandchildren were really disappointed that the pool was closed, it wasn’t mentioned when I booked the room. Went down for coffee and to grab something for breakfast, the dining area was a mess, no plates, and there wasn’t any creamer for the coffee. There’s homeless people living in the small wooded area behind the hotel(where we parked closest to our room) and garbage out there where you would walk your dog while staying there. It used to be nicer, but it seems like since the Covid fiasco nothing is as nice or ran as good since.

Hi Kristi, in response to your review we are pleased you came back to stay with us. Unfortunately, on our website and other web sites it does state our pool is closed seasonally and is opening in April. In the future our plates are located by the silverware, and we have ample bowls and plates that our out daily. Creamer for the future is a dry creamer packet that is put by our coffee station and is located next to the sugar packets. To the concern of homeless people living behind in our brush. We do daily walks, and that area is part of our walk. I have not seen any one back there since last summer. I am curious as to when you stayed with us. If you could reach out to the hotel so I can get some clarification on your comments that will help us continue to be our very best for all guests. We look forward to hearing from you.

I got to hotel about 9:45 pm. Stood at the front desk for 15 minutes and could not find anyone to check me in, after 15 minutes walked across the driveway to the holiday inn express and stayed there. Basically this hotel was a ghost town, only 1-2 cars in parking lot no employees in evidence could not check in could. It find anyone to talk to so I didn even stay there. Got ripped off for room

Hotel was good for the price. Definitely older hotel that needs updated. Rooms were clean. Bed is firm. Breakfast was a little disappointing...just packets of oatmeal, cereal and cheap bread/english muffins. No fruit or healthy options. Also, the pool is not available for use, which is not updated on expedia.

The pictures show a pool, but their pool is no longer in service. They left someone's old leftover food in the fridge. The bathroom didn't have a lock. The heater is not capable of hearing the room on cold days.

The property was run down. There is a picture of a hot tub, but they don't have one. The indoor pool is closed for winter. The phones in the rooms don't work at all. The need was comfy, sheets and blankets seemed clean. Wi-fi worked well.

Thank you for your review, as it gets colder we end to get less guests so we do not turn on the heat for every room all day if no guests are in there, however there is heating in every room that can be turned on by the guest. If you had contacted front desk, we would have been more than happy to assist you. Although this is the case during the cold months, we do apologize that your stay was subpar. Although we do our best to place our guest in a comfortable room. Not all requests or rooms are going to have desirable views. If you choose to stay with us again, may I suggest you call in advance and ask for the first floor Rooms 145-153 or rooms 233-247 Both floors will have a nice field view, and a nice way to wake up and stretch as you look out the window to the sun rise. It was in a good location and fairly priced. The lobby was nicely updated and inviting. There was no elevator and our room was very far from the lobby. While we could park close to the room, going to the lobby was a chore, especially because my daughter was on crutches. Breakfast was basic. A little more effort in presentation and offerings would go a long way! Staff was very helpful and responsive.

Old and run down
This hotel is old and run down. not as portrayed in the photos online. virtually empty when we checked in with better hotels right next door. They claim that it is being "refurbished" but really did not see any sign of that. the room was sub-par in condition and again not at all like the photos online. totally disappointed.

Hi David, Although it may not look so, we work on updating and refurbishing multiple elements of the hotel every week, as much as possible with very limited staff. We apologize for it being "empty" when you checked in. Sometimes our front desk staff must step away, but they always return promptly to assist guests. We apologize for being a bit older, however we intend to pride ourselves on guest comfort. If you need anything at all or have further questions, please do not hesitate to call front desk.

Called for early check in weeks before. When arrived unable to check in, but came back 45 minutes after normal check in. Was told system overbooked and I couldn't check in. Was not called and told my room was ready until 6pm, when already at my event. When finally checked in at 940pm, was told I was upgraded to junior suite. I was thankful and went to room. It was horrible! Smeared blood on the door, mold all over in bathroom, bathroom filthy, carpet peeling off the floor, refrigerator leaking due to ice build up and couldn't shut. The whole second floor is in bad bed if cleaning and repair. Would hate to see what a normal room is like, if I got an "upgraded" suite! When I went down to get my kids breakfast and there was apples, oranges, 3 pieces of bread for toast I guess, coffee and water. Juice was gone. Not a Continental breakfast at all! Took kids to the pool to swim and water was so cloudy and area dirty, we didn't swim. Would not go back!

Hi Lisa, We are sorry you are disappointed in our breakfast. We do advertise it however as a very light refreshment and also serve oatmeal, fruit, bagels, coffee and juice. If you ever need a heartier breakfast, front desk has excellent suggestions of breakfast restaurants. We will pass on to front desk that the area could be kept cleaner, however front desk tries their hardest to maintain the area while handling check outs and other guest requests in the morning.
