Suncadia was a pleasant surprise. Great staff, great view, great amenities. A 4-star, 4-season resort.

We loved our stay at this resort!Posted Jul 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
Our family is planning to visit The Lodge at the Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum, WA next summer and stay for more than two days, and request rooms that overlook the mountains. The view is breathtaking! At night they had complimentary s'mores around the fire outside, which was fun. Also they had bicicles, mopeds, canoes and paddleboats to rent. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were beautiful and had a great kitchen with a fridge, microwave, dishwasher, oven and dishes and cookware. Everything was spotless within the kitchen and the rest of the room. Also, we enjoyed sitting outside on our deck each morning with a cup of coffee. This resort may cost a little more, but it is worth it!

Great placePosted Jun 18, 2014
The resort is a beautiful place, excellent taste on the decoration. All the staff is very friendly and they helped us with everything we needed. Staff is always verifying you are doing well. The room was very comfortable and food was very tasty at the restaurant. Indeed a place we want to come back!

Spring break family stylePosted Apr 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
We loved spending spring break at Suncadia. The resort had family activities planned all week and our children were treated kindly at every turn. The highlights of our stay: smores campfire, game night, the indoor pool and water slides, beer tasting (for the adults), bike paths, walking trails, and a terrific day hike. All (but the beer) was included as part of the $25 resort fee. This was our third trip to Suncadia- the first was business, the second romantic (no kids), and the third as a family. We've enjoyed all 3!

Too pricey for the returnsPosted Apr 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
This place is expensive! Even when booked last minute on hotels.com. Our room was above a roof with the kitchen exhaust fan blowing hamburger at us all night, but if we closed the windows, both the odor and the noise were blocked out. That said, who wants to close windows when you're sleeping in the foothills of the cascades? I'm all for giving the worst rooms to discount seekers, but seeing as how the room still costs over $300 with resort fees, it seemed a little rude. Also, there was a random roll away bed stashed in our room against the wall. No big deal, but it all comes down to the steep prices. And finally, the dining room was pretty bad. Fresh and local...not so much. Very red robin, or chili's.

Peaceful experiencePosted Mar 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
I hit this place at a perfect time. Guess it is where Microsoft holds a lot of its conferences but it was quiet and didnt hear any noise. The kitchen in the 1 bedroom was great and a soaking tub in bathroom and robes topped it off. Forgot my toothbrush and the front desk provided one. The food in the restaurant was organic and really good. Only bads: because of the in room kitchens someone set the fire alarm off at 8 am sunday morning (i was just arriving so no impact to me) and the carpets in the hallways looked really bad. There was a sign posted that they are in the middle of replacing it. I'd definately go back and i'm pretty particular about clean and quiet where i stay. This place is a bargin for the price.

Presidents break get awayPosted Feb 23, 2014
Great place, but one big flaw was the awful pull out bed. Very uncomfortable. We love Suncadia.
Beware of additional fees!!Posted Feb 21, 2014
Pros: Location, area is beautiful
Cons: It seems to me I should of at the very least been given the option to accept resort fees or not. Being surprised as I was checking out by a very rude
Location: Beautiful location...lots to do.
Beware when you book and when you check in this hotel does not inform you that they will charge you $27 per day for "resort fees"!! Ridiculous! Last time I will stay there.

Was not impressed. Carpets are dirty, housekeeping carts were always in the hallways night or day. The room we had the air duct above the bed rattled every time the heat came on. The microwave's control panel cycled turning on the light and making beeping noises. Bedspread was stained. The plus to the visit was the staff was really nice.
