Don't waste your money!

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Room decor was not as pictured..aside from the hideous colors that wasnt a big deal. Odd smell that I couldn't pin point. Vaguely like salami?! Skimpy bedding...sheet, super thin blanket and super thin obnoxious looking cover. I should've made a better effort to roll to the side other side of the bed which wasn't concaved...my back paid for it come morning. Heater made horrible rattle of which makes you want to limit the use but in turn you get to freeze because bedding is non existent. There is a tray with a coffee maker tucked on top of the area to hang your clothes, and barely enough room to squeeze it between the tv and nuker. Vending area by our room which included JUST a soda machine even though the sign said vending machines and ice didn't work...at that point I wasn't interested in running around to find another vending area. Pool was ridiculously cold, and the spa was about as warm as the pool SHOULD have been...pretty disappointing considering the pool was the reason I booked there in the first place for my two kids. We didn't bother to try the breakfast and we won't be staying there again. Glad it was only one night!

Don't expect the breakfast if your a late sleeper

Posted Nov 25, 2014
Breakfast closes at 9:00 am, don't sleep in late. Heater didn't work, loud as could be. Bath sink drained very slowly. Beds way too soft, need replacing. Spend your money elsewhere.

Pipes like an alarm!

First floor is the basement. Pipes are so noisy I though they were the fire alarm.

Pretty good for the price.

Pros: Easy to find. Minutes to check in. Clean and quiet.
Cons: Orange juice machine was not working.
Location: 4 minutes from Central Washington University, which is what I was there for.
Just wanted a clean place for good nights sleep, quick in house breakfast and a shower.

Super 8 in Ellensberg

Posted Oct 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
Two nihgt stay with one of my children visiting CWU. The hotel was below average. Very run down and tired. Beds were clean which was the only positive. Hallways were drab and uninviting. Our toilet leaked water and ran most of the time. Didn't see much of the staff. The hotel mngr was at the post and was friendly. We saw one maid and she seemed pleasant. The hotel is located in a convenient location.
