“Scenic and Relaxing”

Clean and relaxing hot tub and indoor swimming pool. Temperatures in each were perfect. Have been to so many hotels where the water was too cold to swim. The grounds were well kept and perfect to enjoy a scenic walk. Close to shopping and city of Baltimore. Friendly staff !

“Fabulous Hotel”

When I walked into our room at the Turf Valley I literally said out loud "YES". It was a beautiful room & very big! The bed was awsome I didnt want to get out of it. Very clean, very nicely decorated, flat screen tv, huge bathroom and shower. The staff was amazing. The entire property is beautiful. We planned another trip there before we even left.

“Best Bed Ever!”

Check-in was 4pm, but was delayed 'til 5:30pm. might have been cause of the 2 weddings happening that day/weekend. Lobby/restaurant/grounds a bit dated, but the rooms have been upgraded perfectly. I traveled a lot for work and have stayed at many hotels that upgrades the lobby spaces and once you get to your room it's like going thru a backwards time machine. One of the best rooms I've been in - I was in a suite. The beds are the best. I've got a bad back and usually wake up with a stiff sore back. The bed here didn't do that and my wife and I are going to be getting the same bed for home. I've been coming down to this area for work and stayed at another local hotel. The price is about the same for this place and the other hotel but the room at the Turf is 100% better (I had a suite at both places). Thru expedia, the suite was only a few dollars more per night. I'd go back to this place...

“All Around Terrific”

Their website doesn't do this resort justice. Great food, friendly service, terrific accomodations. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Golf course was great. Food was fabulous - great meals.

Beautiful setting. Convenient to Baltimore but in a quiet location.

“A great stay!”

The hotel and grounds were lovely. Our stay was prompted by a wedding reception in the hotel ballroom, but it would make a wonderful weekend getaway. The Sunday brunch was excellent and was even accompanied by a jazz trio. Overall, an awesome trip.

“Great place to stay in the Baltimore area!”

Enjoyed our stay at Turf Valley very much. Room and bed were comfortable and clean. Restaurant adequate. Disappointed that we were not able to golf because of the weather.

“Amazing Room”

We booked a room that had 2 queen beds and were upgraded to a room with a king bed as part of the StayCation promotion. The room was incredible. DOwn pillows, down comforter, amazing bathroom with amazing shower(no bathtub). Huge sitting area. The service at breakfast was a tad slow and overpriced. We were so impressed with the room, however, that we considered staying put and booking an extra night.

“Good pick”

The room was beautiful and comfortable. Lots of storage, roomy, bright. The bathroom was large and the toilet had a seperate door. The sleeping portion of the room was set around the L shape of the room so it afforded privacy. Flat-screen TV, internet, DVD/CD player, convenient light switches, the room was clean. The only drawback is the lack of selection of amenities in the immediate area. The front desk staff was friendly and attentive and the little store was always open. We enjoyed our stay.

“Not bad”

Very classy appearance, but could use a bit more personality from the employees. Some staff-to-guest interaction would have been appreciated, as opposed to having to read everything for myself in pamphlets (meals, ammenities, etc). Asking for my credit card and telling me that I've "booked through expedia so you're all good" isn't exactly what I would consider a warm and courteous exchange between the consierge and a guest. Greetings and smiles, ya know? One would think that a 4 star hotel would have a more personable staff.
