Good hotelPosted Dec 2, 2013
Good choice for budget sensitive trip. Only thing I don't like is the mirror in front of the bed. Really bad idea to do mirror like this because I can saw myself when half way sleepy, which is horrible

Fun weekend in Corning!Posted Aug 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had a great time in Corning. This hotel was very convenient to local attractions, the staff was helpful and friendly, and the room was very clean and comfortable. We typically stay at Best Western on family trips to upstate New York -- this hotel was comparable to that chain, both in price and amenities. However, I think the breakfast foods were a little better here (more choices) and the room we had was a little larger. I also liked the fact that there were convenience foods for purchase in the lobby at any time -- one of the desk clerks advised us to shop at Wegman's down the street for cheaper prices on the same items, but it's understandable that prices are marked up a bit right in the hotel -- still LOTS cheaper than the prices paid for most mini-bar items at some of the more expensive chains.

The staff is friendly.Posted Aug 10, 2013
Location: Don't go the Chinese buffet just near the hotel. The food arr not fresh. And the smell of the back of the restaurant is too bad.
The smell of the air condition was a little bit strong.

Convenient and welcomingPosted Aug 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
I liked this hotel for one thing because the personnel was friendly and helpful and the accommodations excellent. Also, it is located right off the highway and so is easy to find, with several good restaurants within walking distance. It is also close to the glass museum and other points of interest. The breakfast was good, but could have included hot items such as eggs, sausages, pancakes, etc.

Beautiful, comfortable hotelPosted Aug 5, 2013
Pros: Rooms looked new and clean. Very nice complimentary continental breakfast. Nice staff.
Location: Corning Museum of Glass
Hotel appeared to be recently remodeled -- furnishings, carpet, etc. all looked new. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Staff at front desk (late) was very courteous and brought over things we needed.

very convenient and nothing fancyPosted Aug 5, 2013
Pros: location, convenience, service
Cons: soundproofing on the rooms could be better.
Location: tons to do around corning, museums, restaurants, brew pub (go for the been not the food), great little town well worth the visit.
Traveling through Corning on a break from Philly to Toronto. Great little town with plenty to do - could spend a couple of days there happily. as for the hotel, it's conveniently located, staff were helpful and pleasant. Nothing spectacular but it's perfectly functional and well run.

When we checked in the front desk said we didn't pay for the room yet and would be charged upon check out, but I had the confirmation email that it was already paid for. The room smelled sort of moldy and like chlorine at the same time.
