“This is a great example of ideal accomodations.”

We only spent one night but loved the suite. The decor of the room was stylish and comfortable. If we pass through Corning again, this will be our choice of accomodations.

“Good base of operations”

I had trouble getting on line, but an extremely friendly young man from Housekeeping helped me and said that he often had to assist guests doing this. Then the TV didn't work, but a young woman from Housekeeping arrived and promptly figured out that a cable had become disconnected and fixed it. I purchased some milk and ice cream from a local Dairy Store, and because I had brought stew and crusty bread with me, I was able to curl up in my room and relax after a long day on the road. The kitchen was well equiped for 2 people. The breakfast offered included hot food, and the woman server was helpful and outgoing. Tables were in an attractive lounge with a gas fireplace. Very cozy on a Fall morning. I would not hesitate to stay there again as it was a very pleasant experience.

“Perfect for us”

Location next to the Glass Museum was perfect for us. We appreciated the nice breakfast and the free laundry facilities. OUr two night stay was perfect.

“Good surprise”

We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Location was within walking distance of the glass museum, and the facilities were excellent, staff very helpful, and the accommodation was a good size and well maintained.

“Corning Rocks!”

Staybridge was a great hotel for exploring the Finger Lakes Region. It was comfortable, convenient, and has excellent amenities.

“Will stay here again for sure!”

This is one of the best hotel's I've stayed at. I liked the convenience of having a little kitchen there. A complementary popcorn for you to eat while watching a movie. Nice bed, slept very well. The complementary hot continental breakfast was ok, but the bacon was very, very greasy. They have a patio area where you can grill food, a pool and workout facility. I didn't have time to check them out since we only stayed for one day. Free wi-fi was the icing on the cake!!

“Just my cup of tea/coffee.”

Staybridge Suites, as well as the usual room comforts and a good bed provides a well-equipped kitchen with fridge, cooker, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, saucepans, plates and cutlery etc. all in excellent order. It was easy to make your own meals if you decided on a cheap night in and watch the telly. However, in addition to a good breakfast including two cooked items (e.g. scrambled egg and bacon) as well as cereal, yoghort etc. a simple dinner meal was provided on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday ( e.g.meat balls in tomato sauce, bread rolls, wine - help yourself - and coffee). Both meals were free of charge and extremely popular. Not exactly gastronomic you may say but that is American food all over. A short distance to The Corning Museum of Glass and not far from the City of Corning with easy parking at both means it will be my stay of choice next year,

“GREAT PLACE TO STAY”

This is an extended stay hotel within easy walking distance of the Corning Glass Museum. The breakfast was delicious, the kitchen facilities within the room were very helpful, there is a 24 hour store which sells snacks and personal items often forgotten. The indoor pool is big enough to actually swim in and everything was well-maintained. In spite of being located next to a freeway in a somewhat urban area, this was a very quiet, relaxing place to stay. I would recommend to them that the pool and hot tub hours be extended to include an "adults only" time .

“Another good stay”

My son, daughter-in-law, and I shared a 2 bedroom suite. It was comfortable. Everyone had privacy as the bedrooms were on either side of the living/kitchen area. We were impressed with the number of 3 prong sockets available in all of the rooms. A light supper was served the night that we stayed, and while we ate in town, we did enjoy a small glass of wine that was offered. All of the staff were friendly and quick to help. This was my 2nd visit, and I will return again.

“Not bad”

Overall it wasnt bad - the biggest issue was the smell in my room and the other room my group had. It was this interesting mix of old locker room/smoke/mold - just a weird smell that didnt go away with turning on the AC. Nice place overall though - would stay there again if needed
