“Hidden Treasure”

This new hotel comfortably fills a much needed gap in this charming town of Emmitsburg. Far from the strip mall feel of Gettysburg, it is still close enough to get there quickly. Cozy and welcoming are two words that describe this place.

“Comfortable Stay”

The hotel was easy to locate, but could use a sign at the long entrance road by the Exxon station. The parking lot at night was well lighted. The desk clerk quickly handled our checkin. The room was smaller but quite adequate for a night's stay. The air unit was quiet and maintained the temperature desired. The hotel was quiet throughout the night, allowing for both of us to have a good night's rest -- particularly due to very comfortable beds and pillows. The complimentary breakfast offerings were basic -- cereals, boiled eggs, toast, small muffins, danish, juices, and coffee and tea --but adequate for a morning's rush hour commuter drive into Washington, DC. Checkout was prompt. Overall, a very pleasant stay for two very tired travelers.

“Short stay near Gettysburg”

Friendly service, basic continental breakfast, close to Gettysburg. The pool is indoors and pretty small but clean. Comfortable bed. Quiet room at the very end of the hall on the third floor.

This is a nice hotel. Very convenient to Mt. St. Mary's.

“Best Hotel In Town”

Emmitsburg is a very small town. Sleep Inn is a new, clean hotel, and the only one within a 10 mile radius that is a comfort hotel versus a budget hotel. Clean, courteous, and reasonable.

“Met our needs”

This hotel is a perfect stopping place for a visit to Gettysburg or just passing thru. It was clean but not particularly spacious. It is located just off the highway but no noise comes thru the windows so we had a very quiet night. The beds were good too. Note that there is no bathtub which could make bathing kids difficult. The breakfast, which is included, was sufficient and enough to hold us until lunch. For people with gluten allergies, they have oatmeal and hard boiled eggs. Plenty of parking and pets allowed too!
