“Looking forward to next year”

Hotel was very peaceful. The hotel is within walking distance of a convienient store. The hotel staff was very nice and knowledgeble about the surrounding area. The free continental breakfast offered lots of choices. I will be using it again next year and will definitely bring my swimsuit..

“Nice hotel in Emporia”

We stopped on our way south for Thanksgiving. Easy to access hotel; nice, attentive staff. We appreciated the mini fridge and microwave. Great complimentary breakfast in the morning. We would definitely stay there again.

“Excellent location”

Enjoyed the central location and easy walk to the beach.Breakfast very adequate. Lots of reataurants near by. Only complaint was that our friends "non smoking" room smelled like smokers had been there.

“Good Value ... One Night Stay not bad!!”

Very busy hotel... Easy to get to from Interstate. We stayed on our way back home from VA. Comfortable and Clean. We would go back if in that vacinity again.

“Convenient location”

This hotel was an excellent value. We stayed one night while traveling from CT to SC. The location was excellent, right off the highway and there are several restaurants close by. Hotel was clean and comfortable and free breakfast in the morning was good. We were pleased that they allow pets for a very reasonable price. We would definitely stay here again.

“Not Very”

The hotel was not very anything-clean, comfortable, quiet...ect, it wasn't a great stay.

“Not a 2.5 star”

This is not a hotel, rather a motel. The highway noise is very loud, and the rooms are very old and dirty. This is definitely not a 2 1/2 star hotel ... it is a 1 star motel at best.

“Smelled of wet dogs”

Just stayed overnight on the way home. The hotel was right off the interstate, so it was convenient. The room smelled STRONGLY of dog, though, so much so that it was difficult to sleep. The room had double beds and the 1st bed we turned down appeared to have a blood stain (small, but disturbing nonetheless) on the sheet; the 2nd bed appeared to be clean. We finally gave up on sleep and headed out @ 5 am rather than wait for the continental breakfast to open.
